Xu Yan's main priority is her happiness. If she can't truly trust and understand Haoming, she cannot achieve this. If Haoming was more open about how that interview helped the Group before the others told her, she might not have doubted his intensions. In her defence, HM knew about the 3 month clause long before Yan Studio was in trouble.

Yan probably would have wanted to end it within 1 month as agreed originally, but now her resolve is swaying the more time she spends with HM and sees the side of him she's been desperate to know all this time.

He's barely in the drama- probably less than 30 minutes screentime.

That being said, I really do hope Justice will be served.

Yan didn’t believe what Steve said until she saw the photographer and heard HM’s conversation with the Russians before she entered the dining room. The fact that she wasn’t able to 100% trust HM was the reason why Yan wanted space.

Without knowing the real Hao Ming outside his corporate persona, she cannot truly feel comfortable. He was her world for a long time. Once you lose trust in such a person, it’s really difficult to restore it. Yan knows what HM did for her company was truly important but she needs more reassurance. Something that’s not connected to his Group. Ep 27 is a good start.

Under normal circumstances what you said is completely true. Honestly isn't a big deal but given Yan's past and insecurities (and more importantly the fact that Haoming knows this too), it could have been handled better.

The interview itself was good, but she should have been in the loop since the divorce is still on the table and the bid results will be influenced by it.

It's just bad timing. Yan was ready to move forward with their relationship again but Steve's words reminded her that her root problem still hasn't been solved. She still doesn't know Haoming enough.

He means well and he has shown his love and care through actions BUT he still hasn't explicitly said it (the confession infront of the tycoon doesn't count). Yan spent over a year reading his actions as love when he himself discredited everything so she needs more re-assurance.

It sucks but that's life - it's difficult to judge unless you are in their shoes🫠

First question- even if the evaluation period starts "now", the interview definitely gave Haomin a boost in terms of being best husband material. Since the Russian tycoon has strong family values, he already is in favour of SHM winning the bid. The 3 months evaluation is just to make the bid fair for the other applicants.

Second Question-
Xu Yanhas trauma. Her family pretty much disowned and exploited her all her life. That can truly mess a person's perseption on trust. SHM's love for her was something beyond healing. To find out that he was faking it (in her POV) shattered her last strand of trust. Yes, she lied too but for a schemer to trust somebody the way she did SHM is really rare. I guess if SHM was the one who told her about the evaluation period, she might not have felt so blindsided?

Right now she needs to see him outside of his corporate version to truly understand him🙈

That is a possibility...he has to be somebody close to the Shens. Some random guy just wouldn't have the right punch.

TBF if they did that, there would be no reason for the drama in the first place 😅

They both love eachother but:
-He doesn't know how to love her
-She didn't know how to prioritize herself without feeling submissive/ no longer "knows" him

This is where the "cooling off period" comes into play...their situation doesn't really need years worth of being apart 🙈

I'd say the most unrealistic part of this is how Yan Studio managed to release 2 hand crafted collections within barely 2 months🙈

It's possible she wanted to give him a heartfelt thank you but when his mood soured out of nowhere (in her pov it's not her fault that people kept interrupting her), she decided to be petty instead?

Yan doesn't blame HM for the hook up. She can't really since she went to their home gleefully and we've got 2 traumatized witnesses 🙈

I don't think it's Fang. If it was, the lawyer probably wouldn't have dared to seduce the sister. Nor would he knowingly let Steve drag his grandson into this mess. Then again who knows 🤷‍♀️

In hindsight, Haoming was always a loser. Who would have thought that one of the reasons why he chose THAT picture to cover their wedding photo was so that it would be symbolic of him standing infront of his wife?🙈🤭

I don't think HM will be tested since it's not really relevant to HC's case (ep 30 preview shows a clip where a depressed HC gets tested for mild autism due to all the stress from finding out the truth/ being harrassed by the media).

HM did grow up alone though according to his mum so that would explain abit- the guy spent all his life striving to be the best and scheming behind even his dad's back. Losing Yan trully broke something within him- unfiltered HM is indeed WILD!🤣🙈

HC is probably HM's son seeing as in ep 30 they will diagnose him with autism as well. Adding "not your son" plotline after ep 30 with all that drama when there are only 2 episodes left feels abit too much. Specially since his parentage doesn't really affect their marriage. The MC wouldn't abandon him either way.

Yes but it's probably only till the next 2 episodes. Those who have access to express will probably be able to watch the last 4 or so episodes together.
