I intentionally waited for this series to be complete before leaving my comment, and now that I have binge watched…
Two of my favourite scenes in the initial episodes include the one where he happily prepared her birthday party deco on his own as well as the dinner dual the two had together.
If he truly didn't love her back then, he didn't have to do these things. If Yan is in it for his status and riches, then he doesn't have to go out of his way to make fun moments together. They didn't even have an audience he had to sell their relationship to. HM created those moments because he wanted to 🙈
I don't get one thing like them hiding the fact from haochen that he isn't there family. Like I know he is a child…
Guess their hope is that with time, a more mature Haochen will be able to handle his emotions better.
I just completed ep 29 and watching his reaction make sense why they kept quiet. It would destroy him to know the whole truth.
From the Shen's side, they need to be more careful on how this secret will be kept this time though. Knowing HM and the way he learns things quickly, wouldn't be surprosed if he already has at least 50 contingency plans 🙈
Seems like you didn't really understand any of the characters 🥲🐒MIL is the mother of an heir to a prestigious…
Sorry, what I meant was that the characters cannot remain the same once their relevant objectives are achieved (like with the MIL- once she was able to trust Yan, she became quite nice and even supportive).
180° change- From what I understood, majority of Haoming's rediculous actions stem from the fact that it's all new to him? Yemin told him to be shameless so he's going overboard with it (based on ep 27, not really surprised seeing as he seems to put a lot of effort in anything he is interested in). Essentially, he can't be his usual cool and suave self if he wants to get Yan to forgive him. She can no longer trust that part of him.
(TBH I've seen/ read too many desperate CEO stories so I guess I'm more used to the jarring change now🙈)
Where did it go wrong. It started as a mature drama with a cold cunning fl and her red flag Husband, her suspicious…
Seems like you didn't really understand any of the characters 🥲🐒
MIL is the mother of an heir to a prestigious group- obviously she is going to be suspicious
FL wasn't cold to anybody who didn't deserve it
ML was a red flag because he misunderstood his wife. He should have realized sooner but you can't blame him completely for being deceptive- she lied first (Yan even admitted it)🙃
Once all secrets are out, you feel liberated (and in HM's case desperate too to save what he lost).
I'm trying to figure out why SHM has been a deadbeat to the board of directors and desperately trying to prove…
Basically he’s had a pretty wild youth so more conservative board is taking advantage of his past to prevent him from joining the board- some probably truly do not trust him because of his past and others for their greed. Also if you really think about it, SHM is already a pretty formidable opponent. For board members who don’t truly have the best interest for the Group in heart, they wouldn’t want somebody like SHM within the board.
Finally, some probably do not really like the idea of having too many Shens in the board.
Is this happy ending kinda romance story? Or revenge, singlehood, freedom type story?
Happy Ending. The MC never had an intention to take revenge on the other to begin with. It’s most likely well intended lies, suffering the consequences of it, and finding a way to reconcile.
it's good. It entered Tencent 30k club (ranks 5th all times), had a peak of 41.7% market share (ranks 5th in 40%…
Since you are watching My Lovely Liar, this would be a good next choice. It essentially focuses on the consequences of lying/ omitting important facts before getting into a marriage.
It's got a mix of serious, 🔥🔥🔥, and humour. The work related side story eventually contects with the main story too so it's not exactly filler.
Seems like the director isn't trying to fool us based on the previews 🙈Honestly it would make sense to make…
Guess we'll find out today. It's difficult to imagine how Steve would be in ol ed since if he knows about Lin Tao, then he would know about Yan's secret too.
Since Steve hasn't tried to blackmail Yan with this, LT might be out for his own revenge?
Lin Tao is acting strange. His expressions along with tense musical notes are suspicious. Is the director trying…

Honestly it would make sense to make him an ass in the end. It's too convenient how he redeamed himself by saving Yan's financial issue so quickly. At first I thought Haoming might have indirectly got him to help but it doesn't look like HM was involved/ nor did it make sense since he'd have better contacts so there really is no reason for the ex to be lurking around. Specially given the fact that Yan was indirectly the reason why he got fired in the first place.
He's also way too pushy with the couple for an ex. It's like he's trying to use reverse psychology to make Yemin suspicious about Lin and him😅
guys don’t get into situationship after a divorce it’s only cute in dramas in rl it’s hell like Thb I would…
She didn't trust him though- she can't help loving him but she's been cautious throughout the drama. Ep 26's 🔥🔥🔥 moment was handled rather maturely and yet she pushed him away the moment she realized that she wasn't ready. It wasn't until the locals in ep 27 began talking about their investor did she try to be more civil with him🙈
Don’t know which episode you’re on but by 27, I feel he’s far beyond redeemed himself and only await their…
Haha I was referring to ep 27. He keeps trying to do the right thing but it comes out wrong (just like how it was for Yan initially).
I'm joking btw- been supporting him since the beginning. He's just like an Agave too. Prickly on the outside since he was hurt but deep inside he's been always hopeless for her🙈
Now that he truly understands his mistake, he's on the right track.

Like the way she kept forcing herself to not smile/ look for HM in ep 27? And god the drunk scene 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I still can't believe how she managed to hang on to HM the way he practically kept tossing her around like a doll🙈🤭

The casting is perfect imo.

Destiny seems to be out to get him now- forcing him to look like a stalker without even meaning to🤭
Perhaps wait till after Express is out? So you can at least know how LA ends?🤭🐒
(Assuming based on the previews and hints they keep dropping in ep 27)
