I think it's the fact that HM'S intensions weren't more explicit? Under normal circumstances it wouldn't be a big deal but given the reason why they are divorcing is because he used her, it hits hard.

My intepretation of that scene is that HM used Yan's success to help her. He was just the messanger.
The Russian wife for instance- she was solely Yan's success story. The issue was that the world has no idea just how great Yan is at what she does. All he did was promote her efforts using his connections as opposed to using his money and sponsorship to boost her career like he did during her Host days.
Was he meddling? Yes, but he did it in a better way this time. Being independant is great but part of being a successful CEO is to know when to get help.
Yan is still her source of happiness- HM just helped to promote it further🙊
his secretary isn't, but his lawyer is, starting around dep 21-22 maybe? still seeing how it will unfold though

SFL- the lawyer manipulated her into joining forces with him after Haoming threw her out of his life. It's not clear though if she purposely hurts him later in the series since the latest preview of her hints that she accidentally revealed his secret while being drunk.
Secretary is Lin Chen (the guy who always calls HM with Yan's updates) but not sure what the lawyer's name is.
Give Yan a chance- they might have purposely ended the episode at THAT point to entice viewers🙈
It seems like the director's intension with the end of ep 25 is to give the drama the chance to give the couple a moment of drunken "truth". Saw a few teasers on X that imply that HM and Yan had a fight during or after the celebration seeing as they are both hammered.
The fact that Yan ended up doing an interesting thing without thinking when she had to go back to her Apt. (won't spoil it in case you don't know) is definitely going to make HM feel better since now he knows for sure. 🙈

Yes- and even more than this scene, there are several points where his actions prove that he must have at the very least liked and cared about her during the time he allegedly didn't. For example, on her birthday he was happily fixing up the same lamps that were later used as part of the surprise decor. If he didn't like her, he could have made his secretary do it or at the very least he wouldn't have a genuinely happy aura while tinkering them 🙈 There are a few other koments like this as well.
