It's only been barely a month since he caught feelings so you can't expect him to just stop caring- you need time to get closure. Since she won't quit and he can't force her to, they have to learn to work together. If your tirade is because of ep 5's preview, it's obviously misleading🙊

Yes! The SFL is going to find herself in the middle of everything. Once she figures out that JH is in love with Da Rim, it will get interesting.

I mean she's very blunt and an open book. Since she will figure out these 2 are lying, she will have to choose between:

-help Da Rim by keeping quiet
-help JH by telling HIM the truth


She seems like a fun person and has a crush on the SML so she'll probably go with option 1. Seeing JH flustered and not being his usual proud cocky self would be a perk for her🙈

Ep 4 explains it. If the loan shark is corrupt, even if it's illegal, some sharks might still try to harrass the family. If the family is already vulnerable and they realize that the police are not that helpful, they'll fold and pay somehow. It's essentially emotional blackmail too since not all runaway debtors would let their family suffer.

I guess it depends on the family's mentality and position? Similar to bully mentality.

Honestly I'd be more afraid of what he would do to Seon U. He knows first hand how it could affect both a wife and a son so chances are he'd try to beat some sense into Seon U before confronting Da Rim 🙈

Completely platonic/ borderline siblings. The Gos pretty much took care of Seon U since he was a kid. That's why he's even willing to to work with the SFL since he wants to help the family now that they are in trouble.

If you are confused because of his overboard husband act, it's mostly because he only knows that JH is a domineering team leader. This is just his way of protecting Da Rim from any potential harrasment from her superior.

I found one on X last night. I'm not sure if it's ep 5 per so or a combination of episodes but it's definitely connected to ep 5's preview with the husband joining the company.

Ngl this was the first time I saw a romcom cover the loanshark arc properly. It was smart too to use money instead of fists (even if JH knows how to fight).

You are probably right- they might go for something like in KTL. Even her sidekick isn't really bloodthirsty enough to egg her on so there might be hope for her. Since she wants the company and JH despices it as it is a reminder of his mother's suffering, they might unite eventually? 🙊

Did you watch episode 4 - Da Rim’s “deh” scene totally gave me Lovely Runner Flashbacks😂

The fact that she was willing to sabotage the livestream in the worst way that could hurt their brand says it all honestly. Sure she has an inferiority complex and daddy issues, but that doesn’t give her an excuse to look down on Mother TF (specially now that we know about her own mother’s implied past).

The next plot line would probably be either the half sister’s sabotage attempts/ forced marriage debacle. Neither parent gives a hoot about their children’s feelings and are likely to look down on both the SML and Da Rim, so things will probably get complicated here as well - unless JH and the SFL do a joint version of what the ML in King The Land did.

The way JH kept trying to reassure himself that his mum didn’t purposely fall is just…. - to the point of even asking the same question several times 💔

I’m torn about the sister. She definitely has an inferiority complex and probably had to wear a mask in front of the others since she cannot afford to be seen as weak. I can’t imagine how lonely she must have felt as a kid. But then again now as an adult, deliberately sabotaging the field study as well as the livestream just to one-up JH is beyond immature. She’s pretty much sabotaging the brand she craves for 🙈

The father is also so blind -JH doesn’t even try to hide his contempt towards the very brand and man that destroyed his mother. Would you seriously trust somebody like that to take over the company?🤦‍♀️

Exactly! She’s privileged but not a mean girl. It was really sweet how she chilled with Jun instead of acting like an awkward boss lady around him

What other approach can they use though?

The ML would be labelled as a Red Flag if he continued to simp after the FL knowing that she is a married mother. If he forgave her instantly, people would call him a pushover.

While he is childish here, at the very least it suits his character to a certain extent (if you watch ep 4, it will be clear why). Somebody with that kind of childhood would never downplay any kind of spousal betrayal.
