She played with fire and got burnt. Besides Haoming has no use of her anymore even as a business partner, so he…
Honestly the sister deserves it- not once did she show empathy for her sister's death and instead used her son as an excuse to lust after Haoming. He did warn her several times afterall too.
As for Yan, he's not going after Xu Yan because she is still useful. He knows he messed up badly so he's trying to use all his resources to win her back (in a clumsy manner).
He knows her worth and how hard she works (he mentioned this several times during the initial divorce arc and after she quit). HM is a hypocrit and has been lying throughout the drama. His feelings are subtle but his anger is mostly because he's hurt that she came after him for his wealth. It's all between the lines.
For instance, when Yan asked him if he ever loved her, his answer was "from the moment I found out you were a fraud, I could never love you".- this doesn't mean that he never loved her. There was a time he really was interested in her IMO.
Even on her birthday, he personally fixed the arrangements (he was working on of the lamps when the crazy sister called him). If he truly was using her with no feelings attached, he would have just got his secretary to do everything.
Even with Lei, he became stone cold after she told Yan everything (he even told Lei that she deserved to die for telling Yan everything😅).
The thing with Haoming is that he can be extremely cruel and childish if you cross him. It's understandable why he initially thought she was a gold digger BUT he should have realized the truth when she kept trying to tell the truth. That's where his mistake lies. By the time he realized her sincereity, it was too late.
was so excited to watch this but heard they butchered the endingat what ep or point do i have to click off to…
Last episode- stop at the 30-32min mark (when the camera pans into the inside of the car in the gardenn after their moment).
TBH the censorship ending isn't that bad either if you don't overthink it since the couple definitely retains their memories and is tenacious enough to follow their dreams.
It's basically why i don't like some things in these drama: bitch green tea, Fang lei was always around Haoming…
She played with fire and got burnt. Besides Haoming has no use of her anymore even as a business partner, so he has absolutely no reason to entertain her whims anymore. The lawyer guy is in charge of keeping her on a leashe so she can't really do much. The mum hates her guts too so she can no longer come back to the Shen's as a guest either.
The only thing is he needs to figure out a way to keep her away from Haocheng (I have a feeling that she might tell the kid the truth 🫠)
and most how he changed completely from serious cold to a silly clueless teenager want to get his angry girlfriend…
It's difficult to say with Yan given her past. She truly gave her everything to him and even mentioned several times how she loves the way he "knows" her. Seeing as he truly had no idea that her feelings were sincere (and even assumed the jam comment she had used for work was fake), he probanly really would have to sacrifice himself 🙈🙈🙈
and most how he changed completely from serious cold to a silly clueless teenager want to get his angry girlfriend…
The "other guy" is insignificant honestly. Yan officially turned him down and is only working with him in a professional capacity. The thing is the guy has a reputation for being a playboy so HM is a bit extra with him.
(TBF HM hated him even before divorce was even thought of due to his unscrupulous reputation)
Okay, so far I am liking it. I'm on episode 11, not bad. The acting, the story, and the actors are good. I do…
I too came in with the same expectations but once you watch ep 12-13, it makes sense why the "introduction" took so long. If they started with the divorce, we wouldn't be able to understand HM and Yan's actions and why they did everything.
I am waiting to complete so I can watch fully but one doubt did she know that about his son's secret
She didn't - the reason why she lied was out of love so she didn't do the typical gold digger research enough to find the Shen family's hidden skeletons so to speak🙊
Forgive me if I sound mean, but I honestly don’t think she should be crying at all. She lied too, and it feels…
They are both liars. The difference is that Yan decided to accept both their faults and even was willing to be Haochen's step mother but Haoming still refused to accept her apology since at the time he still believed that she was lying.
That's why Yan mentioned hpw she was like the boy who cried wolf. She knows that what she did was unforgiveable but it still hurts.
The reason why most support Yan is because while what she did was enough to get her arrested, Haoming's actions were more cruel.
Personally, I feel like they are perfect for eachother- just waiting for HM to finally win her over by being completely sincere.

He no longer has to pretend to be serious and sophisticated.
He has a wild streak given how even his youth was pretty reckless. Now that Yan (and his family) knows the truth, he doesn't need to pretend. Besides, his love guru pretty much told him to act shameless if he wants her back🤣
HM knowing XY's phone number did not move me one bit. Maybe because he was deliberately showing it off? All I…
Based on the foreshadowing from ep 23 and the preview from one of the future epispdes, we'll get to see this. How far will SM go to protect Yan's dreams.
He does love her- during the dinner scene where he revealed his diabolical plan, he unintentionally revealed that…
It's possible that was his intension after he found out his but the thing is you can't control your feelings. It's possible that he may have wanted to use her from the beginning but before he found out the lie, he may have genuinely wanted to date her too? Kind of like a 2 for 1 deal? She meets his ideal partner standards (looks/ personality/ skills/ potential to care for HC and his family without being entitled) and at the same time she's a worthy investment that could help his future plans. The supposed betrayal just made him more cruel.
I rewatched ep 12-13 last night and noticed a scene i hadn't really paid attention to at first. On the day of Yan's birthday, we see HM fix a few lamps with a pretty genuine and excited smile alone before he got the call from the sister that forced him to skip Yan's birthday. In the scene at Agave, as part of the birthday decor you can see they've used lamps.
If HM didn't love her (specially after knowing her secret), he wouldn't have a reason to fix the lamps on his own- he could have just got his secretary to do it. And he'd definitrly wouldn't smile so peacefully. Despite what he says, I feel like he wanted to continue with "happy family" charade not just to benefit his career.

I didn't really stop to think why the bellboy kept accompanying the Russian guests to their room until I read your comment now🤦♀️
Fortunately things worked out for the friend at least i guess
