I think we need to understand why it’s not popular internationally. It’s not marketed heavily internationally, so it’s not getting the traction. It would be a different take if viewers start to watch it and drop the show for not being entertaining. Maybe over time, international audience will catch on and start watching too, just not while it’s airing.

@MK916 Sadly, I never learned to appreciate erhu music. All the classical/traditional Chinese erhu pieces I’ve heard before mainly from dramas/movies are always extremely sad and weepy. I always associate the sound to someone dying a miserable death or a damsel in distress with an unfortunate ending. Will check out Elliott T.

ADOS trumps ALL other dramas for me at the moment. Even during down time, I can’t bring myself to watch different shows because they all pale in comparison. I rather just come here to read comments and discuss about ADOS. It’s that good to me. 😀🤗
