I became a fan of Jing Tian after watching several of her dramas, she's such a great actress. I didn't know that…
I also recently started watching her dramas. Her most recent works have been quite good (8.0+ here) which tells me she is good at choosing scripts. I also see a lot of variety in her upcoming dramas: xianxia, scifi (?)/tech and crime/mystery. I hope we get at least two of her upcoming dramas this year!
start what after I watched Arsenal Military academy, Xu kai is a Great actor I'm a big fan now, but can someone…
He didn't use his voice in this one. As far as I understand, he has a noticeable Cantonese accent which is why he is regularly dubbed. He uses his real voice only in "she and her perfect husband" if I'm not wrong
Hi i just want to ask is there a girl who is in love with the male lead or obsessed with him and does the female…
Oh, I slightly misunderstood! Yes, she went quite far into the drama without actually doing anything herself. But I think her two-faced nature was shown as she was plotting with her father. She was quite well-written villain in my opinion
Hi i just want to ask is there a girl who is in love with the male lead or obsessed with him and does the female…
Well, she was enthusiastic enough to hear his father's plan and even hoped for "the accident" to happen sooner rather than later to the FL. If she truly had no evil intentions or actually loved the ML unconditionally, she would have told him about her father's plan.
At that point in the confrontation, Cui Lin believes that Li Ni still despises her for betraying his army, even…
She felt guilty about staying alive while her brother took a hit for her and dropped to the river. She didn't feel grateful about being saved because at that moment she would have preferred to die with her brother. She knows her brother betrayed the ML's army, and she was upset with her brother. But he was her brother after all. She didn't expect him to help her, she just would have rather the ML let her die with her brother than to only save her. (And he saved her to blackmail her father anyway, which she doesn't appreciate)
After trying so hard not to drop for a long time, I finally finished watching. Some people say that FL and ML…
I see your point of view. But how I think about the series is that there's going to be conflicts, because it's a drama. It would have been kinda flat in terms of the plot if they just immediately understood everything and agreed on all the issues. But what I liked about their conflicts was that they were not just the brainless misunderstandings we see in many dramas (except for when ml thought the fl had betrayed him, but he figured it out after rationally thinking about everything). I see the lead characters as highly intelligent people, and when they face conflicts, they generally do understand each other but that doesn't mean they agree on everything. They disagree on things, think about it, let the situation progress and then finally they get to an agreement. The fl reacts emotionally in some situations, but her reactions generally do make sense when put into context. He also has his moments when he reacts quite hastily. I liked this turbulence, and seeing them coming together at the end of each of these issues. I agree about the ending being perfect! Too many times the drama has a suspenseful last episode with a 5-minute twist happy ending, that leaves you unsatisfied. WOL really gave the audience the ending they deserve with no open questions.
Please can someone spoil it for me? Does this have happy ending? Also at what epesode did the main leads get together?
Yes, there's a happy ending for the lead couple. In fact, the last episode is after the last conflict and shows their life for years to come. As for when they get together... Their relationship starts as a love-hate kind of thing, but they get closer through the episodes. I think she kisses him on the cheek around episode 10, he proposes before episode 20. There are many twists and turns, but they are loyal to each other and always find their way back to each other.
I agree! They even won an award together. I would love to see them in a republic-era or modern drama (with a good…
omg yes!!! I LOVE the Republican-era's aesthetic with the western and Chinese clothes mixed... And Xu Kai wearing a suit in every scene... Perfection! Jing Tian is obviously so pretty as well and that era's dresses and hairstyles would fit her so well! I would love a mystery/action kinda series from them, but I don't think we'll be so lucky to see that...
I found this reviewer perspective fair and balanced. Basically, she's saying Jing Tian portrayed the character…
I agree! I don't think the FL always need d to be the smiling, goofy, sweet person that FLs many times are. I liked Cui Lin's character a lot. She wasn't perfect, but people rarely are
Fantastic, i loved it. They were together from beginning to end, none of this slow burn bs. Misunderstandings…
That's a good point! And in WOL I would even say that the SFL was "nice" longer than the SML. As in she started actually scheming later even though she might not have been liked just for being SFL before actually turning evil.
Interesting "melon", hope they cooperate more: https://twitter.com/AudreneLiew/status/1737092382884311124XK and…
