Yeah, maybe it's a cliche, but I think these are special circumstances. Feng Sui Ge seemed extremely angry at Fu Yi Xiao and thinks she is an enemy. In the worst case scenario, if he doesn't listen to anyone around him, he could even hand her to XJS in exchange for something. That might be a little too crazy though.
I feel like the final battle will be between XJS and FSG and will involve FYX, since XJS hasn't really gotten to do anything crazy involving FYX

I see two more big plotlines happening. First, obviously Feng Sui Ge needs to take out all the clowns from power and clear his name.
Second, there's the final battle XJS. Which one comes first? Maybe the former.

Another big plot that could overarch these two plotlines is Feng Sui Ge's amnesia. I find it quite fitting that this happened to him. He did say a few times during the show to Fu Yi Xiao that she is lucky for having lost her memories and forgetting about the people that betrayed her. Let's see how he handles it. Another thing I wonder is, will Feng Sui Ge only forget about Fu Yi Xiao since he attacked her in the trailer. I can imagine his men being frustrated how he wants to kill his lover, and how mad the non-amnesiac version would be if they let him hurt her.
I could see there being a plot of XJS somehow getting his hands on Fu Yi Xiao, his obsession seems to be as strong as ever. And then Feng Sui Ge would remember her and that's the trigger for the final battle. I'm not sure!

Well said. People want a strong female lead, but as soon as she shows anything but absolute devotion and loyalty (even at her own cost) she is alla of the sudden cunning and evil. Misogyny 101

I know people don't want the amnesia plot again, but it's not like they haven't hinted at it since the beginning. Will the couple become enemies once again? That might serve though

This trope was used in WOL too. The FL saw the issue with this and tried to make him see that he had to take the throne. Long story short, a lot of people died but in the end he took did get the throne. It's one of my fave dramas so I guess it doesn't bother me that much as a trope. I wonder if in this one Feng Sui Ge has to see the chaos his brother causes while "ruling" in the nest of vipers.

No, I'm just thinking. Feng Sui Ge's mother had a huge influence on him. He had not considered becoming the crown prince in all those years. So maybe he'll need to hear it from the person that resembles his mother

I feel like the empress will make her clueless son usurp the throne and the court will be ran by corrupt villains. Feng Sui Ge will see that the normal people will suffer because of an incompetent leader. Maybe Fu Yi Xiao will be the one to tell him this, making him consider taking the throne. I don't know how that would affect their relationship though, since Fu Yi Xiao is likened to Feng Sui Ge's mother.

So, Feng Sui Ge is getting deathly injured in the coming episodes. Will Fu Yi Xiao take him to the same place she took that one brother earlier? That place was founded by Feng Sui Ge's mother, so that would tie in nicely to the plot and we'd see more of his mother's past. I feel like the Empress will force her clueless son on the throne and that will be one of the final battles after Feng Sui Ge realizes he is the only one who can rule the empire. His brother is way too young and naive, those villains would run his court.

I agree, every plot flows well. The amnesia wasn't prolonged too long, the issue of the mother's death was handled in timely manner. I'm just wondering who the next villain is and where the story is heading.

The plot has been moving really well so far. The heir issue, his mother's revenge etc. are all happening already. Makes me wonder what's coming next. Maybe Xian Jing Shi is the final villain? But if Feng Xi Jang plots against him, his story might be the next one. I also wonder if they'll introduce Fu Yi Xiao's real family at some point. She was kidnapped as a child, so she might be a child from a good family still.

Fated hearts has been SO good, and I feel like this show has a plot that's even better suited to my tastes! I can't wait for this show to air

Fr, it was so dumb! I thought he would take the camera to the police, they could have retrieved even the deleted photos. Instead he creeped around the house more. Well, I guess he isn't all that stable either, he almost kidnapped a baby too in a delirious state

I'm scared that her friend ends up being one of the traffickers. This show seems to portray reality brutally. In many cases kidnapped children end up working for/with their kidnappers since they are brought up in that world with little choice

Such a good police show! For me this is a nice break from all the costume/romance dramas. The cases are interesting, interconnected and investigated parallel to each other. I quite like this concept instead of the usual format of each case being worked on 2-4 episodes and then jumping on the next one.

ep.4 with the Mo family feels like a filler episode, quite okay after all the chaos from the first arc. And it seems like the plot is going to get back on track in ep.5. The FL will appear, more immortals etc. I look forward to tomorrow!

I'm loving this show! The mysteries are interesting, the FL is smart and capable. AND dare I say, I'm a little tired of the red flag, cold MLs. I love how warm Yan Chi is with his family etc.
