It's difficult to trust ratings honestly. I usually check here to see the rating to figure out if I should give a show a chance. Usually if the rating starts with an 8, at least the story/vibe of the show is decent. Under 8 I'll have to see reviews and figure out what's the issue and if I'm willing to overlook the flaws.

And I think both of them are using their own voices!

Oh my god... episode 10 was intense! Usually dramas don't have such brutal beatings of women, but I don't dislike it, because such things happen in real life. She is a freaking warrior for pulling through. I think this shows just how inhumane and deplorable the murderer is and gave a shock to the viewers. Looking forward to the next episode!

He is an amazing actor and he has been pretty much exclusively in good rated dramas since 2019 . I hope to see many more projects from him

I have had plenty of discussions both agreeing and disagreeing on various topics on this comment section, all my messages are still there. I have started topics and responded many times, this one was in no way special. You did no evil deeds whatsoever. You just came across a little arrogant which triggered many responses from fans. Based on you other replies on this thread I got the impression that you have set the universal truth to be that she can't act, when I, and many others have no problem whatsoever with her acting in WOL. I hope you find dramas with actresses that suit your standards better in the future.

You are entitled to your OPINOIN, just as the people that like Jing Tian's acting in WOL are entitled to theirs. You don't decide that her acting is objectively bad, or that she absolutely doesn't suit Xu Kai. I respect your OPINON, but respectfully disagree, as many other commenters do.

The ML's father is the brother of the Emperor that was assassinated at the beginning of the series. The late emperor had a son, who escaped from the palace. The usurper is a general of an army of the state. The late emperor's child is like 8 years old, so he is too young for the throne, so ML's father ends up ascending the throne. ML, and his two older brothers are up for the Crown prince title. The ML wants to put the real heir, late emperor's son on the throne, but he is in hiding. ML's father and brothers are BAD and not smart, so many people in the court etc. support ML for crown prince's title. After some events ML ends up ascending the throne and ruling for like 10 years. He gives the throne to the late emperor's son when he is of age and moves out of the capital city. (the ML becomes the emperor in the last few episodes and there's a 10 year time skip)

For real! Why does the word "love" have to be included in every single English title? Like it's hard to remember which show is which

I loved this show and I'm currently watching the Turkish version (name: Bahar) of this drama! The Turkis version is one of the most watched dramas over there at the moment and the comedy has translated so well!
