I have been watching this show in real time. I really like it! There's a difference between this show and a traditional adventure show or a normal modern drama. So far the plot has been consistent, the romance has been well-written and the comedy has been hitting. Can't wait for the new episodes!

Would love to see a modern drama from him next. Maybe a older woman-younger man romance? I could see his youthful, warm energy fitting this kind of drama. He has done a few school/university dramas, so a different setting would be interesting to see.

It's a story about a pair of twins that are forced to be enemies. Mostly the story is adventure/martial arts/brother relationship. Chen Zhe Yuan's character meets his final love interest only in episode 32, she is played by Liang Jie. There are no kiss scenes etc. But they were a nice couple

I agree! I enjoyed the first 10 episodes the most, before they were traumatized. It was a bad idea from A'Zan to go back to the war zone after his trauma. The ending wasn't good for anyone, but I guess I'm happy they at least died together. I would love to see CZY in a soldier role again!

Just started to watch this show, but I'm struggling. I will finish it for Chen Zhe Yuan though

I didn't even realize he is that young when watching, I thought he would be around 30. The plot is very strong and carries the show. The chemistry is good, the relationship is a lot of witty conversation and the chemistry lies there. I have seen people complimenting their chemistry too. There's not a lot of intimacy at all, the tension is there in other ways. I recommend watching a few episodes to see the vibe of the show. For me it was a 10.

I agree! I'm tired of the shows where the main couple is good for 1-2 episodes, and then they have a big fight again. I enjoyed watching this couple grow together. The ML didn't get angry at the FL for being the saintess etc.

Yeah, it wasn't handled smoothly, but I guess 83 family members of his getting killed might have woke him up from the delusion
