The elder actors are doing such a fantastic job. I teared up in many scenes with grandma and grandpa. Plus, why…
Maybe this is a cultural aspect, because where I'm from, elders are taken care of by their children (and spouses), when they get older and/or sick.
Even if grandma and grandpa don't want anyone to help them, it's probably because they don't want to bother their children/in-laws. In this case, it could be a good lesson for Sin Ae; she needs a wake up call from her fantasy little world, where she spends money she doesn't have and treats everyone like they're here to serve her. Like I said, even if Da Jeong doesn't mind, she shouldn't have all the responsibility in this. Grandma's disease is very serious and delicate.

Plus, why isn't Sin Ae helping out her mother? Why should Da Jeong have that task? I know that Da Jeong probably doesn't mind taking care of grandma, but Sin Ae should get to know about the disease and help, instead of being her usual cynical self.
And while we're at it, I love love love Da Jeong and Jae Woo.
I'm getting a little bored of this drama, I skipped quite a lot of scenes in the past few episodes, but can't…
I agree with you, though I didn't feel the need to skip. Mi Young and Gun's scenes, even the text messages ones, are poignant and important, but her scenes with Daniel sure feel a look like fillers that's what making it slower for me, at least.
I'm really curious and excited to watch season 2, but it won't be the same :(
I'd be willing to wait until Sakai Masato's schedule is cleared and he's available. But whatever they decide to do, I'm pretty sure I'll still tune in.
Cutting off episodes is not a rarety these days (see A New Leaf, Passionate Love, etc) but cutting half of a drama's lenght is not usual. Wild Chives was doing pretty bad in terms of ratings and jTBC wasn't happy with it, mostly because the previous drama - First Born - was a big ratings hit for cable.
I dunno why but she kind of looks like she could be his noona to me.....but I love both of them so I'm looking…
They look the same age to me, which they basically are :)
Either way, they aren't two actors that I follow, but we never know until a few episodes are out. For the sake of bringing a quality drama, I hope it's a good project.
It's scheduled for 50 episodes since the beginning and since the ratings have been good (they hit 30% last week, if I'm not mistaken) is pretty much a given they'll end it with the initial 50 episodes. They can even extend it (although I don't think it's likely). Wild Chives had terrible ratings even for cable.
Loved the ending scene on EP37 between Bo Ri and her dad. Good acting from both, so many emotions and a nice little pay off finally. I so shamelessly love this drama.
The best preview I could find.. http://couch-kimchi.com/2014/08/13/fated-to-love-you-jumpin-jang-hyuk-episodes-13-14-written-previews/
I don't remember much of the second half of the original, but I do recall that Dylan (Daniel) was indeed trying to push his relationship with Mi Young further, thus the proposal scene or something similar. But I tink MY won't be having it, I hope she respectfully rejects him in order to keep their friendship instead of bringing more drama.
I feel they are keeping Sera and Gun together to give her more to do. She does have another plot to be explored, but I'm not spoiling :)

Two things about not too sure about: Gun and Se Ra are still together? WHY?! And also why is Daniel proposing to Mi Young? I sure hope it was a out of the blue proposal and not because they are a couple. I think it makes no sense, imo. Although I do remember seeing Dylan proposing to the female lead on the original too? We'll see.
Everything sounds absurd, but hey, MAYBE they end up having really good chemistry?!
I'm only half joking :) I think she's a very bland actress, while I feel he overacts in certain moments - so this is still a very weird pairing combined with a weird idea. I think I'm gonna pass.
I don't think Bo Ri's biological mother and adoptive mother deserve Bo Ri's love and loyalty. Both mothers always…
I think it's more likely for Bo Ri's bio mom to be redeemed than Min Jung, at this point. There's still a lot to be seen, but since they might want to give Bo Ri an all around happy ending, I can't see them having the mom out of the picture/staying evil.
As for MJ, I hope she pays for everything and has zero chance for redemption. So far, she's shows no remorse, no conscience, nothing. We can hope.
To be completely honest, I'd rather see Gun having amnesia for a few episodes than having to watch what happens…
I'd actually prefer if they switched the storyline I mentioned above with an amnesia plot because you can reverse an amnesia, even if it's lame and cliché, but you cannot reverse the other storyline. Not to mention it'll totally ruin the drama for me as it ruined the original.

Jang Bo Ri is safe.

I like Eugene, she has a nice screen presence and energy. I might check out more of her work thanks to this. Thank you :)

Thank you for the video, @Haven!
Thank you for the link :)

It has nothing to do with that scene in particular.
