And if the DSS Translated & Fan Edited parts are at 100% (just like episodes 1 to 5) then the subs are good. Before that, they are computer generated, which means they might not make much sense yet.
I was disappointed with what they did to Kobe. It isn't really his fate that bothers me, but the lack of... heroism, I guess (die while being an UC, or saving someone would have been a good option)? And why couldn't he just go with Ah Yan by his side?
Decent ending, fun even. But his character could have been better handled on the final arc.
I haven't seen the original, but I look forward to anything with Joo Won. I don't know whether I should give this…
I finished the original just a few days ago and I'm a lot more excited for this than I was before. I think this remake is in good hands. Both Joo Won and Shim Eun Kyung seem perfect for their roles and the teasers indicate this might be a good one.
i'm disappointed dramafever got the exclusive streaming rights to this. unless you want to pay them $9.99 (more…
It's worth mentioning that Viki gives you the opportunity to become a QC (Qualified Contributor, access to pretty much every single drama even outside of one's region) and have free Viki pass, HD videos etc. And you don't even have to know another language to help, since you can learn how to segment (timing the subs) and become a QC that way.
Dramafever has profissional subbers, if you're out of the region, you can't watch even if you pay. Viki's staff are volunteers, giving an opportunity for everyone to get involved and be rewarded.
The chemistry between Dong Ha and Bom Yi is insanely high. The show has potential turn into a huge tragedy series…
Bom Yi marrying Dong Wook would be the most bittersweet thing they could come up with, I think.
She already realized he's not the person she truly wants (and that has nothing to do with Dong Ha), so going back with that decision would make them unhappy, like you say so well.
So far, the drama is treating Bom Yi as an individual with her own feelings and letting her make decide what she wants, which is pretty mature.

Exactly.
I honestly don't understand why DF is so keen to have super exclusive streaming rights to something if they're only available in the US (and sometimes in other places of the American continent). What about the rest of the world? Where are we supposed to watch things if not on Viki (who offers European licenses many times) or on other not so legal streaming places? DF gives priority to the American market and I get that, but the rest of the world exists too and getting the rights for a drama like this is kinda saying the others have no alternative but to watch 'illegally'. Not to mention it's been said their subs sometimes aren't as good as Viki's, but I can't really comment on that since I don't understand Korean fluently to compare.

It's so unfair. That probably means Viki won't get the license for this anytime soon.
The subs will appear everywhere eventually, but having more than one source of subbing would be good. Not to mention Viki's subs would probably takes less than a day.
hey guys wanted to ask how would you compare this drama with lee soon shin is the best?? i mean LS is a drama…
No problem!
In terms of character development, I find Jang Bo Ri's (the character) very interesting, even if underrated. The evilness takes over a lot in this drama because the writer/team realized that factor was bringing good ratings.
Ultimately, it isn't a total nonsense watch, but prepare yourself for some extreme ups and downs, just in case you decide to watch :)

Jang Bo Ri is makjang central, basically. Mama drama, resident evil Min Jung knows nothing but to try and ruin people's lives (especially Bo Ri's, who according to Min Jung, is to blame for everything ever), several nonsense characters who will make you want to pull your hair off, BUT also some cute couple moments, an awesome character called Moon Ji Sang and Oh Yeon Seo/Lee Yoo Ri being great.
I dropped Lee Soon Shin because I couldn't stand several characters, so I find Jang Bo Ri a lot more entertaining in that aspect and I never felt like dropping. Just try to not get too involved and watch for the sake of having fun watching crazy people and crazy plots. Your call.
I liked the idea of him having a farm and lead a quiet life, though.

Don't hesitate in watching the original :)

Episode 42 aired yesterday (09/27). Episodes 43 and 44 air next weekend and conclude the drama on Oct 5.
"Chinese for Beginners" sounds good.
(I hope I'm not picking a book that isn't part of the giveaway)
