The ratings were pretty bad. The only drama that could face My Golden Life head on was Money Flower (which managed to hit 20%) and that has finished too. MGL's ratings are in the 40%. It's too strong of a competition for any other weekender atm.
This drama is very silly that I'd say it's sillier than the High Kick dramas. It's not a bad thing at all, especially since it's airing after Just Between Lovers, which was very heavy. Not to mention it's a good drama to enter Spring time with.
Go Won Hee reminds me of another actress but I can't remember who :(
Also they apparently changed the script, whatever happened to Mo Hyun's asthmatic 5yo ?
I got the feeling that they first erased a possible child between Mo Hyun and Boo Cheon (it was on the correlation chart when the drama started) and then tried to pass that condition onto Seo Won and Boo Cheon's kid. He was sick during some scenes. Looking back, it was for the best that MH and BC didn't have a kid. The story might have followed a different path but the outcome would be the same. This way they spared us of having that type of drama. Their divorce was clean & had closure.
This is a mainland drama so I'm guessing he doesn't have the same star power he has in Taiwan. Plus, I think he's currently taking a break, since this one was filmed in 2016 (or already in 2017), I think.
If it's available in your region:https://www.viki.com/videos/1087448v-unexpected-life-drama-specials-yeon-woos-summer-episode-10
I'm sorry. I looked for it everywhere but Viki's the only place that I know of right now. I couldn't find it on youtube :( I think KBS World deleted this episode for some reason.
I'd also like to recommend Youth (2014) that only has about 300 members and it's also a really good episode. It's written by Yoo Bo Ra, who's currently writing fan favorite Just Between Lovers.
I wonder who will be Sarah Michelle Gellar and who will be Reese Whiterspoon? I know ryan Phillipe will be Don…
I'm guessing Joy is Reese and Moon Ga Young is Sarah Michelle. We'll have to see how many liberties they'll take with the story (and with Cruel Intentions, to a degree).
I have a feeling that after the scene showing Kangdoo in the boat he will be leaving for a year or two (the classic…
You're not the first person I see having that theory. And we're still halfway through so a timeskip wouldn't be unusual. The angst would be REAL. My melo loving heart is kind of telling me it's gonna hurt so good lmao.
He gives me the vibe of Rain from A Love To Kill. Like, a nicer version of him xD
YES. I agree with @palak. Actually, Junho has been giving me Rain vibes since forever. Even in Chief Kim. Idk there's something about his acting and body language that reminds me so much of Rain.
She had a baby girl in April 2016, so she was spending time with family and taking a break after Moon/Sun. She's back though, after 6 years. She was cast in the k-remake of Mistresses (BBC). It'll air sometime in April :)

I actually prefer this way, as well. At least no drama will be cut or affected and they can prepare the new dramas with more time and patience.
