I have watched 5 episodes so far and I am not that much interested. does the story become more interesting later?…
It does get better. It was also pretty hard for me to truly get behind this one because the first, I'd say, 10 episodes or so are slow. But once we get to Joong Hee's plot (with the family and later on with Mi Yeong in particular) it gets better. There's a lot of attention given to Hye Yeong and Jeong Hwan (and his family) so there's that. The couples have their developments but it's not right away. Carry on until around ep15 and see if you still feel that way, it's really a good drama.

Person Lee Seo Won
He is the spitting image of a young Ji Hyun Woo so makes sense he plays the younger version
And he has played the young version of Ji Hyun Woo twice now. Awl and Wanted.

Sending positive vibes for this drama. Rooting that both leads do well.

Person Jin Ji Hee Spoiler
High Kick Through The Roof?? Isn't she still a child then...?
She is but we fast forward to the future during an episode and we see that her character, as a grown up, ends up marrying her brother's best friend (she's played by Park Shin Hye in that episode!).

In all of the examples I gave above, she only plays the child portion of said characters ^^

I'm back just to read the comments and I see if its less depressing and then I see "annoying second lead" which…
But he isn't as annoying as other second leads, I mean, at least so far. We're 4 episodes in and he doesn't overshadow the main leads nor steals any spotlight. Idk what's in store for him but don't miss out on this drama just because of that. It's totally worth checking out.

This drama is so good I can't wait until the next ep!!,, does anyone know any books/films that are similar to…
Not books or films but honestly, if you don't mind me, this drama is actually very jdrama-y. The execution, the story, the cinematography. So, jdramas like Soredemo, Ikite Yuku, Love That Makes You Cry, N no Tame Ni or even Tatta Hitotsu no Koi are quite similar to this.

She has Soo Ae's eyes and Han Hyo Joo's features
Also her voice! It's so deep, just like Soo Ae's.

The bloopers are hilarious. I feel more connected to the cast watching that than during the episodes themselves.

Does anyone know how this is fairing in Korea?
The ratings aren't steady, but they do better on tuesdays than on mondays (marking numbers like 5-6% for the monday episodes and then going up to 9,1% on tuesdays, which happened this week). It's doing fairly well, it's usually the most watched drama on that timeslot on tuesdays (beating Two Cops and Doubtful Victory).

Title Dear Them
I am guessing that Zhang Ruo Yun will be playing either the role Jo In Sung or Shin Sung-Woo played in the Korean…
Yes, he plays Jo In Sung's character. Jiang Yan plays Go Hyun Jung's, so they are a little younger here in relation to the original.

Title Oh, the Mysterious Spoiler
is there romance?
There's a childhood "romance" part but as grown ups it's still very subtle. It might grow as we go along, but it's not the primary focus at all.
