I'm lowkey looking forward to the chinese remake of Coffee Prince. It definitely won't be a competition to the original, but I'm curious to see how they'll do it. Chinese dramas have been growing in quality lately.
You're My Destiny has been a good adaptation from what I've seen so far. I like that they seem to be focusing more on the kversion than on the original (which I prefer).
I'm loving this drama and I would gladly watch a full 16 episode order. It's so cute, balancing between the kids' coming of age and the equally important angst, with a lot of social aspects throw into the mix and a warm, nostalgic feeling (I wasn't alive in the 70s but this makes me miss it! It's the "Reply effect", I would say). I actually think Reply series fans would like this show. It's not, at all, a rip off. It's another view and perspective on kids growing up in another era. The love lines are all "messy" (he likes her but she likes the other guy and then the love that cannot be) but all the more lovable for that. I really like Young Choon and Hye Joo.
Hopefully more people will check this one out after it ends its run next week :)
I saw it as them making Sang Hwan "redeem" his part actions and be the savior. I had a few problems with…
Yes! I felt there was very little Dong Cheol at the end? And the storyline of his dad being stuck in the cult's basement was also pretty random... But anyways, we're seeing more of Do Hwan soon, so it's fine :D
Sang Hwan and Dong Cheol's actions should've been reversed in the last episode. It would have made it…
I saw it as them making Sang Hwan "redeem" his part actions and be the savior. I had a few problems with that myself (and also Dong Cheol literally goes undercover into the cult and in the end Sang Hwan gets to be the Man). The reference you made of them switching places in regards to Sang Mi's mom also makes a lot of sense.
I don't hate Sang Hwan, I get what the writer was doing, but the situation was oh so convenient to make Sang Hwan the ultimate main character/hero.
This is my third mdl layout update~ I still remember when we didn't have feeds and our profiles only showed four of our latest updates) but changes are definitely welcome and the website is looking awesome. The new features are great as well (and I love to see that you guys really listen to the users'; suggestions and improve things). Thank you to everyone involved! ^^
I hope her career is intact after this news. Despite the contracts and everything, no woman should be severely penalized for getting pregnant. Congrats to both and a safe pregnancy!
To be honest, despite their huge age gap and especially her being a minor, there's nothing in here that steps over the mark regarding their relationship. The only "shady" character here is Yokota. I'm just saying this because that last line on the synopsis can be misleading or chase people away from checking out this movie.
Is there really going to be a romance? people are complaining about Ha JiWon being so much older but they obviously…
Do you guys remember when the shaman said to Hyun 'the next girl you'll like will be harder to get'? as in it's gonna be a tough road for him to win her over, since he'll clearly like her first. I'm liking them more than I was expecting. This might be a slow burn ship but it's slowly winning me over too.
Oh great, not only I have to worry about Dong Cheol making it out alive now there's also undercover reporter girl who probably won't survive this drama :( fingers crossed the final episodes are good to us and may that cult be burned to the ground.
Is it just me or does he steadily get paler and blonder?
I think it might be because the hair/make up team have to constantly dye his roots which obviously involves bleaching and the hair just turns whiter and whiter (and it's probably super damaged as well).
(or it could have other meaning in relation to the plot...)

No subs though.
