Disney is either raising flags to see which way the wind blows, or is confidently charging ahead regardless of any potential blowback:
"…according to broadcasting and financial sources, Disney+ is reorganizing its 2026 lineup and reportedly adjusting the release schedule for Knock-Off in the first half of the year. Investor briefings in early March are expected to address remaining production details and streaming plans, signaling that the project is back under active consideration."
This drama surprised me in the best way possible. It’s intelligently written and brilliantly acted by an exceptional…
Yeah, me too! I had problems with several of her past dramas: Memories of the Alhambra (game injuries result in actual physical effects), Sisyphus: The Myth (convoluted storytelling), and I hate-watched Doctor's Lump (chugging fistfuls of antidepressants with copious amounts of booze). But since The Judge from Hell (and here) she has grown on me as well. I respect her craft. She is amazing!
average-ish good drama, not that bad, if only i had binged it instead of watching it while on air, it might have…
If I had binged, I might remember some of the people from that montage about how their lives have changed (eg. the girl Si Yeol met at the airport and her father).
U Seok: I'm a bad boy. I had evil thoughts. I was greedy and selfish!
Eun Ho: Every human finds something dark within themselves. It's all part of learning and growing. It takes a lot of practice to become truly evil. You need to work hard at it.
U Seok: Whew! (relieved)
Eun Ho: Now take this enormous dagger and stab me dead. Murder me now, please.
When you fall in love with someone, those irritating habits become cherished traits!
But if they push you buttons then they are teaching you that you have these buttons to be pushed. So you can grow and mature and chill out a little bit. It's not like these irritating behaviors are red flags. On the contrary. Why wouldn't you love someone who makes you a better person?
It took me 10 episodes to realize the stabbing was a flash forward, not a flashback. Here, I've been waiting for Si Yeol to demonstrate his gumiho powers!
Eun Ho's vision (if what we saw is exactly how she saw it) did not clearly show that WS was the one fated to be…
Yes, but which time? She switched it around by kicking a soccer ball (car accident), and nine years later she literally swapped their fates with magic!

I admit this was too subtle for me. IMO the production/writer/editor/narrative should have hung a lantern on this key point.
