I feel the same way about this. It has such strong leads, with great chemistry, but the palace shenanigans was just too tiring to watch because the left minister was just too powerful. The second couple story was blah (both of the actors are not helping in the acting dept) But I finished it just for the sake of finishing it, and tbh the last episode was not bad, but the momentum was already gone by that point.
Ep 1 is sooo funny. The casts have good chemistry for people who mostly met for the first time. Gongjun, Yuning and Yuwen are menaces, and never knew that Xingxu is sooo introverted. The 3 Dages are so funny with their banter.
