AHAHAH i knoww this is very "toxic" but i follow and love them since in the novel, although we know he is morally grey from the start and sincere love her with his "obsession" that is already "toxic" but i didn't expect the director make him more "toxic" and diabolical here 😂, and i didn't expect his dynamics with FL is more complicated in the drama than in the novel, well i can't help to love them cause he's the ones whos love her from the start and pursue her and fight to get her "love" from the start all his devotions and care, protect her and help her indeed is sincere and now i felt like diabolical to love them haha because of today eps 😂but the thrilling doesn't stop here cause in the future eps and preview eps will be him pursue her again seriously i think i'm crazy i can't help myself to love them.

Okay today eps is still same as the flow like in the novel but the funny part is, his manipulative sides and his "ruthless" method is more toxic than in the novel, not only he used pills to control his subordinates (like in the novel) but also scheming with the "Attack Nie Zhe with the hearts thing" (Not in the novel) and threat Zhao" with 6 beichen people lives (The kidnap are the same like in the novel but the "threat line" Not in the novel) and, shown us the scenes in the drama to make us think he "used his girl more often" (This line too not in the novel) and make him more toxic than it seems 😅 whatever director do make his character more "volume up" and i didn't expect that, it's looks like make us viewers seems like diabolical to ship this relationship haha.

Actually his behaviour and method are caused because of his "tough" life in Demon/Li sect from young age until grown up and he learn the world from his miserable and menace life same like in the novel but like many comments says here his devotion to his lover is true but then the director set his characters to shown us he's not only devoted but also very manipulative and really "toxic" and make us confused of his real feelings and motive eventhough i know from the novel he really loves her with obsessions and it's also considered as "toxic" but didn't know will be turn out this "toxic" in drama😅, Well his personality is morally grey from the start and always indifferent towards people and can do "ruthless" thing to others like in the novel, what i didn't expect his dynamics with the FL turn out more complicated in the dramas than in the novel. Shout out to their acting on these several episodes they really give their emotions towards us emotionaly i can't help to felt their struggle and sadness... (Eventhough from the start their acting are amazing, but these few eps really emotionally make me weaks).

Okay sorry for forget to mention that parts, she left him cause she cannot left her family behind and betrayed her master and sect (qi yunke), she has lovable family, and dear friends who care for her, and eventhough her master is like that he still good to her and he has deep friendship to her aunt too, she cannot leave all her "precious" life behind and secluded herself with Mu Qingyan like (Luo Shiyun and Mu Donglie) so she went back and take responbility because she is righteous person just like her aunt (Pingshu) told her to do. Eventhough she love him and ready to risk her life to save him but she still can't left her beloved fam and her life whos from the first it can be say "perfect carefree life" for her.

He is indeed love her you can rest assure in the last eps of the drama or eps 30/31 fowards cause he will reunited with her and pursue her again. (Or read the complete novel if wanted to know). Yeah he is indeed the ML

Yeah cause in the future eps he will pursue and teaming up with her again for searching the last stuff of ziwei sutra this is same like in novel and i can say this cause i see the clip of the one of their original MV and the routes is same like in the novel so you are right about his obssesiveness, Mu Qingyan let go of Cai Zhao ? that's surely a dream for Yuzhi hahaha

It's okay eventhough they will be separate again but they will meet up again, in the preview of eps 30 and one of the clip from their origin MV, the FL will search up for last stuff for ziwei sutra technique, she will go with her 3rd brother and 5th brother but then she meet ML in the way and end up teaming up together for search the last stuff of ziwei sutra this routes is same like in the novel so far.

Can this comment be pinned on ? this is best explanation ever for some ppl whos misjudge without know how the "dynamics of MumuZhaozhao love story"

Seriously theres some ppl says the FL cannot "acting properly" then this 25-26 episode that out today if this is not an act then what is this ? (Sorry to emotional because today episode full angst torture and sadness then that 5 sect really wanted to get beaten huh?, only luoying valley has emotional intelligent left).

Don't worry in the novel they will be meet up again in the future eps because Mumu will not let go of her until the end, i read the novel he will pursue her until the end of chap and end up together, but before that they have many events and struggle before their accomplish their love story. like today eps (25-26) are the episode of their struggle. Mumu have to let go of her cause she can't leave her family and betray her master (Qi yunke) that's why she came back, eventhough Mumu can save her and kidnap her that will be useless and make her hate him and cut ties with him, so that's why Mumu didn't do that, he doesn't want to be hated by his beloved one. They will meet again when Zhao n Yuzhi n Fan Xingjia find out about the final step/stuff that has to do with the cultivation of Ziwei sutra technique and Mumu will meet Zhao" on their way and end up searching together same like in the novel i found out this from their original MV and preview eps today.

But the part he says he threat her with 6 beichen lives is not in the novel as far i remember, and he just beg her to stay, the director add it and make him more obsess than in the novel.

Yeah what happens to him in the novel? i'm curious too, what i remember from the novel he safe at the end and not dead, he just being left by his 3 wives at home 😅, and what i remember all the Mu Qingyan subordinates is safe and not dead, even when Mumu gives them poison pills to control them they still loyal to Mumu and Mumu gave the antidote cause he remember what Zhao said to him to not think that people lives is not a matter to him.

Preview of eps 28 : The director really pull Mu Qingyan more obsessive than the novel that part when he say he threaten the 6 beichen life in his hand to her only for her not to leave it's make him more madman than before 😅😭
