Okayy i hope the story still give us some of the original materials and turn out good whatever theres a little elements of Xianxia in it or not, but when i see the trailer the main leads, support leads and guest leads i know they suitable for the roles and gives the series more shining and turn out well ! when i saw the new trailer long ago i knew they will be deliver the characters well and they give us some iconic scenes from the novel in the trailer, so whatever it will be turn out i hope this drama still shining and deliver the emotions, story and chemistry well...

Okayy i didn't expected this drama will got some sort of Xianxia elements in it... are these Xianxia elements involves God/Gods ? in the drama ? if not maybe it still okay, because what i though maybe they add Xianxia elements a little because theres a lore for the Demon sect in it, because their skills and some cultivation method beyond "human" thing ? like example Nie Hengcheng in the story he wanted becomes immortal that's why he want to practice purple heart sutra (the cultivation method inheritance from Mu Qingyan/ML great grandfather) and Mu Qingyan has two birds who given by his father who can fly high and take him to whenever he wanted and much faster than traveling on the ground.

Maybe the elements of Xianxia is added because of that and some others (that i forgot to mention) it's just my assumptions from read the novel, i didn't really knew well about Xianxia elements so much i just knew that's Xianxia often envolves God/Gods and high cultivation.

As far i read the novel, When Mu Qingyan/ML ask about his father feeling to the servant named Cheng Bo the lines and the story didn't explicit says about what Mu Zhengming felt to Cai Pingshu but more like implies he regret not help her. Here some lines from the novel translation from chapter 134 :

“Cheng Bo,” Mu Qingyan hesitated, “did Father… love Cai Pingshu?”

Cheng Bo’s expression grew complex. He didn’t answer directly but recounted, “I asked the Master something similar back then. I saw him sitting by the window, watching the young lady leave, so I asked if he had feelings for her.”

“What did Father say?” Mu Qingyan asked curiously.

“The Master said he felt more saddened than anything else,” Cheng Bo replied. “When I asked if he regretted not meeting her earlier, he said no. He was sad that he couldn’t help her when she was at her lowest point.”

“The Master said he couldn’t bear to see that young lady driven to such extremes, using the Heaven Demon Disintegration Technique, which left her crippled with shattered meridians.”

“He said she was the best girl in the world, who should have lived a life full of joy and freedom. What a pity…”

Maybe the audience can interpret it as a pity, likes or some other feelings, it depends on what the audience sees by POV and conclude.

For the kissing scenes for Ping shu and Zheng yang as far i read the novel and remember theres no explanation of them kissing but theres another explanation by side characters that they have lovers conversation and you know some stuff what lovers talk to each others.

For the explanation of "steal someone's wife" maybe the audience interpretation it as that "means" but the real thing is Ping Shu has fiancee/betrothed man name Zhou Zhizhen but their engagement didn't happen because she's prefer roaming the martials art world than have to be someone's housewife that only stay at husband hometown and doing dosmestic life stuff, and then she met Zheng yang when she travels alone.

That's far i remember about the story in novel thank you for asking.

I recommend you if you wanted the full chap and extra chap you can read in Mydramanovel because it already completed theres, you can get the link in recent discussions by the WatchingTvSeries, because in another website it already completed too but have many errors and not yet been fixed like the chapter is mixing up with another chapter maybe they still fixing or under maintenance.

Yeahh that's the iconic parts and scene that the fandom wanted to see hehe~, for the novel as far i remember read the novel the chair kiss scenes is not in the novel but they do another spicy intense interactions in the novel, so i speculate that the chair kiss scenes in the trailer is made up things by director to make this dramas more iconic and spicier for the audience.

THIS IS THE INTERESTING PART, sooo for mee, i really like the romance the romance is so wholesome and ML give many sacrifice and struggle to get her love and to get her, the FL too has her own sacrifice and struggle to be with him but objectively the ML has so many efforts and sacrifice that's make us cry and salute to him, he really love FL so much and never hurt her, always give her her needs and protect her at all cost eventhough the FL smart and strong he never let her to suffer.

The dynamics and relationship of them is wholesome and romantic to me, when they first met and still know each others they love line is more like slow burn romance but after the ML know his feeling to her he begin to look after her and care for her deeply even at first when he still know her a little/bit he care for her and obey her (And the one who know their feelings first is ML cause the FL still didn't love him). Their love is giving respect, mutual understanding and trying to know each others feeling so well

To be honest their love is the success version of the aunt FL and ML uncle (Cai Pingshu and Mu Zhengyang) because the aunt FL and ML uncle version end with bad ending unlike their generations the ML and FL end with Happy Ending. You will know if you read the novel how much ML loves FL until ML give in to her and yield about his grand mission to make her happy and help her fight together and not abandon her or betray her.

So about the personality the ML is posessive and obsessive towards the FL but not in a bad way, he never hurt FL or push FL to obey what he wants it's the opposite he always obey her and yield if his plan or schemes is too much for the FL and he obey what she wants that's why they end up together because they try to fix their communication and try understanding each others. The ML is jealousy type too and don't want her to get along with another sect brothers. The FL is in lovee with him too but at first when she know he is from the demon sect and soon to be the leader of the Demon sect she lost hope and forced by her elders and parents to not let her see him and they think he manipulate her and used her eventhough that's not true and he always kind, nice and protect her, that's the lore of the love story is like forbidden love and become enemies to lovers in cute way cause the ML keep pursuing her even when FL is push him away.

For the break up they never truly break up, because the one that wanted to settle ties is her because she afraid if the world knew they have relationship they will accused Luoying valley her hometown and her family colluding with the Demon sect so that's why she always push him away, eventhough he still pursuing her and try another approach to her to prove his love to her and seriousness to her. That's the interesting about their love story like ML really a man with prove his love by action and keep her safe even when he agree about FL wish to separate but he keeping check on her in her hometown by sent spy to her hometown to keep her safe and know what her doing (That time he agree to her cause in his sect still urgent matters and have crucial time and wanted her to save so he let her back to her hometown).

In the story when they journey together (They have many journey together) he always happy and taking care of her and protect her, he is like puppy to her but when to others he always give malicious aura and intimidating haha, He only do sweet things to her because she is his lover that's what makes him interesting and his demeanor is like the Leader of the Demon sect for sure and only can be tamed by her.

OMG sorry i was unaware and this time you ask about FL and ML not FL Aunt and ML Uncle hahaha wait let me write again and send you

The romance for aunt FL and uncle ML is like tragic love, because they ended up fighting againts each others and Cai Pingshu (Aunt FL) finally kill him by herself, the ML and FL found out about this tragic fact at almost near the end of the story the ML conclude after find remnants of the bone of his uncle he says that's the blade that her aunt use cut half of Mu Zhengyang bones so that's her aunt who kill him, and ML conclude that even if they fight againts each others her aunt must be injured too but she can kill him without any fatal injuries so ML speculate that his uncle is feeling guilty towards her aunt.

For the romance i didn't saw any breakup of them (Cai Pingshu and Mu Zhengyang) but in chap 125/126 when ML and FL met the friends of her aunt and his uncle, the friends said that FL aunt and ML uncle arguing about the truth of Mu Zhengyang another missions wanted to kill Nie Zhe (Nie Zhe is young boy that has bond with Nie Hengcheng). and FL aunt didn't agree cause she not like a innocent person get killed (Nie Zhe still innocent at that time) so because of the different opinion they separate for their own path and FL aunt cried when she know that he used and deceive her to obtain night orcid and truth about his hidden missions (this thing is one of the object that required for him to kill Nie HengCheng).

Eventhough at first Mu Zhengyang only used her to accomplish his missions eventually he's fall for her ,when they first met they like partner for the journey in martial arts world then help each others and fallin in love but then because of the event i have describe above they relationship begin to struggle and eventually become tragic love because of the Mu Zhengyang greediness and selfish ambitions.

Because he has his own mission to kill Nie HengCheng the leader of the Demon sect at that time, he has personal resentment towards him cause Nie HengCheng want to assasinate and get rid of Mu Zhengyang.

As far i know from the novel, Nie Hengcheng is adopted uncle because he adopted by Mu Zhengming and Mu Zhengyang grandparents. and Nie Hengcheng is ambitious man who wanted to rules the demon sect and after that wanted to rules the world. Because of his ambitions he don't want to gives his throne to his nephew that's why he want to control both of Mu siblings (Mu Zhengming and Mu Zhengyang) but Mu Zhengyang is ambitious too and Nie Hengcheng worry and think of him as a threat so he isolate him.

Then Mu Zhengyang begin his rebellion towards him so that's why he wanted to get rid of Nie Hengcheng and claim the throne by himself.

No problem, they met when Cai Pingshu (Wan Peng) traveling the jianghu alones and as far i remember they met at snowy mountain, when Mu Zhengyang (uncle ML) want to take snow scale dragon beast's saliva for his mission to kill and manipulate Nie HengCheng (leader of the demon sect at that time). First he only used Wan Peng for his mission and then he fall for her and like her. Wan Peng too she fell for him because he helped her in her journey and they begin to know each others more but endep up in tragic love because of the betrayal of him to her.

Because after the battle and kill Nie HengCheng by herself and risked her life with cripple herself, she is become sick and bedridden in her bed and only eat medicine after Cai Zhao become growing up she eventually cannot survive from the illness and passed away, that's what i remember from the story.

No Problemm~ yeahh i'm very excited too and eagerly want to watch this drama so much :)). Can't wait to see ZYR and BSE act together !

The story so far i remember she is the righteouss hero in the jianghu world (wuxia world) because of her braveness, chilvary and kind and righteouss personality she is the young woman that's fight and wandering alone in the martial arts world. She is like the personafication of banishing evil people and standing for justice, she is popular among the sect even in the demon sect at that time (in timeline wheres she still live and young). The righteouss sect respect her but the first leader of the Qingue sect jealous of her achivement and same like his the daughters and enemies (Demon Sect) don't like her too. That's why she has many people who dislike her and wanted her down. When she wandering alone she met Mu Zhengyang (uncle of the ML) that is when they fate become intertwined together because Mu Zhengyang have to accomplish his goal to kill the leader of the Demon Sect Nie Hengcheng (at that timeline).

At first Mu Zhengyang only used her as for the missions he wanted to achieve but then he fall for her and like her but because of his own greediness and ambitions to kill him, he become cold and not thinking about the consequences and not consider Cai Pingshu (Wan peng) feels because he betray her when Cai Pingshu wanted to kill Nie Hengcheng with her friends, Mu Zhengyang kill half of her brotherhood (like brother in the name of martial arts world). So the tragic love of them begin and Wan Peng have to kill Mu Zhengyang by herself for revenge justice, because of his act she has to kill Nie Hengcheng by herself and risk cripple herself that's why she became cripple and only bedridden in her bed and eat medicine everyday until Cai Zhao/FL her niece growing up.
