And they have their own missions to accomplish but the ML is still keep in check to know she safe or not

Okay thank youu so much for read it till the end, yeah i felt bad too for the ML because he just wanted to love someone dearly and being loved but their love are forbidden by FL elders and he suffer a lot because he just wanted to see the FL and interacts to her but the struggle is far beyond. True the part the FL saves him is one of the most iconic scene and part in this drama & novel this part shown in the trailer is the most heartbreaking, heartwarming, and emotional chap/episode for real 😭

Is this a wuxia or xianxia drama?? Genre says wuxia but there are demons!?
It is Wuxia, the terms of the Demon sect is like a name for their sect because their sect rules and settings are ruthless, and considered by another sect (righteous sect) like doing evil things that beyond the rules and morals of the righteous sect, because the Demon sect is a sect that pursue the goals without thinking about the morals of the socials or doing grey/anti hero things, and they have possession of skills that's sinister to learn, yeah something like that. That's far i can explained if i'm lack explained the things, maybe another person can fill the blank of the question.

Okay sorry my bad i didn't consider you wanted know about that hehe 😅. Soo before that sorry this is a further spoiler, theres will be a part when she wanted to do things on her own to save his father and elders from the sect matters and has to go to dangerous place in the snow mountain alone only with (support character that has key parts that only will appear in the middle of this story until the snow mountain story end) and the ML pursue her and wanted to go together and accompany FL because he worried and wanted to help her and make sure she will be safe.
That's when the FL know and realize her feels that ML help her a lot and risk his life to help her and accompany her whenever theres danger around and their life at the edge of death, (Well he became this lover boy because at beginning story FL always help him and accompany him in the sect at that time, and she became his ray of lights) back to the topic so after the snow mountain story end, ML has to handle matters in his sect (Demon sect) and reclaim his position for the throne that time FL came to the demon sect on her own to help him and in this story FL begin thinking what they will become in the future, different from the ML he's already falling in love with the FL first when they at the righteous sect/Qingque sect (at the beginning of the story) (my assumption this will be shown in the middle eps in the drama) but because of their sect are enemies for decade she can't accept him because if she accept him her hometown and her will be caused colluding with the Demon sect and her elders definitely will against them that's why he pursuing her until the end.

Seriously the MV is beautiful.... the setting and the cinematography... wonderful. The glimpse story of ML/Mu Qingyan and FL/Cai Zhao and aunt FL/Cai Pingshu and uncle ML/ Mu Zhengyang is really beautiful, heartwarming and emotional like exactly what the novel give to us 😭♥️, i'm waiting for 22 February like a lunatic now 🤒
Why does it have a demon sect? Is it literal and will demons be like a main thing and be mentioned several times?
In the novel yeahh there's many scenes and mentioned many times because it will be one of the main thing from this story because their story really have continuity about the previous generation and the next generation will unravel the mystery and secret and history about the righteous sect and demon sect and their will learn about previous generation mistake to prevent the consequences that's why the name of the drama Generation to Generation.

Okayy thanks for asking, in the novel their encounter many struggle and events before they end up together that's why the angst come from, like theres internal affairs in the righteous sect and in the demon sect too (opponent sect), and theres forbidden love that will make them hard to be together because FL elders will against their love because ML is the young lord of the Demon sect and future leader of the demon sect. But eventually their love and effort accomplish and end up together until they get married ♥️ all this happiness will be at the end of the chapter in the novel.
