fricking boring

this drama started out pretty cute and entertaining. we have the typical forced cohabitation story and that's fine.
boy and girl found themselves forced to live in the same apartment due to a scam and they start liking each other.... or do they?
the ml is a bear , barely speaks, unable of expressing emotions od thoughts, to give explanations or whatever would save his ass from misunderstandings.
the FL starts out quite cute but at the end of the drama I frankly detested her.
she should be the "naive" light hearted character but is too dumb to be true.
an example: the guy wants to move out become they technally shouldn't be together and he wants some independence. the girl understands that he is proposing to her... like how?
the aren't even a couple. she is crazy about him and I frankly don't know why. he always treats her like shit even when they are together. never a single gesture of affection. only when she is really upset he tries to make amend.
he says her basically ad a nuisance and literally bares with her and I don't even know why.
at times she seems to have some light Stockholm Syndrom. even when he is a fault she takes the responsibility of guilt on herself.
beside of all of that, nothing. of substance really happens.
the side characters are one dimensional.
they either love the protagonist or hate them because they are dating each other.
the drama lasted way too long and the last 4/5 episodes were really dumb and unnecessary. they wanted some plot twist or confrontation to happen what it was dumb.
not recommended even for the target audience which I guess are 13years old.

this drama was really good. the story was compelling, the acting was great (the male lead was EXCELLENT). I cried a lot , I laughed a lot I couldn't ask for more.

plot: a psychiatrist randomly meets a person affected by did and finds out their are connected by their traumatic past. they met in their childhood and were abused by the same person. they decide to collaborate to resolve their own personal traumas and end up falling in love.

the different personalities were interesting and portraited really well by the actor.
I absolutely recommend this drama

it has everything!!!

this drama is just so good. it is funny, entertaining, has sad parts, some tense moments, fight scene, cooking.. basically everything you could ask for.
the entire cast is just so good and you'll inevitably root for them.
a quick synopsis:
the chef of the Korean president conducts a very alpha male life. he's good-looking, talented, women love him. one day at work he falls victim of a collegue's trap and ends up chased by the police. while running away he falls into a pool and due to a time slip he ends up in the joseon era in the body of the queen!!!
he is shocked at first and tries to go back to his life but when he realizes that he cannot go back as soon as he wants and that his mind and the "real" queen emotions and memories are mingling he decides to live at the palace trying to survive th scheming and plotting of the real court.

really recommend this drama. the main actress is just so good.

absolutely LOVELY!!!

this drama has everything: friendship, romance, coming of age, struggle, heart breaking story and comedic moments.
the characters are all endearing in their way . they struggle but are able to overcome their hardships in the end.
this drama depicts people's dream in a very realistic way, not presented through pink lenses.
the main male character had to sacrifice his entire future because of his family circumstances but is able to get some "revenge" at the end.
the female leader has her struggles as well when it comes to fulfilling one's dream of success.
she is the very protagonist when it come to perform "aegyou". I discovered that these scenes are very popular among drama lovers and rightfully so.
the other couple shows us a relatable picture of what having a long term story can mean and the misunderstanding that sometimes happen between people who love each other.
the theme song "fight my way" is a banger I cannot stop singing it.

I laughed, I cried, basically I couldn't ask for more.
I really recommend it.

Two Simps and a sociopath

this drama in infuriating in a good and in a bad way.
it is really fascinating to see a drama full of only shitty people with few exceptions and in this sense. they made a great drama.

watching it is a frustrating experience which is comparable to what living with a real sociopath could feel like.

our protagonist is Bek ah Jin, a girl who needs to grow up quickly and learn how to defend her self from the adults in their life and try to survive in a cruel world.

in the first half of the drama you can kind of sympathize with her (to a certain degree) but in the second half you just want to see her dead.

how much can your sad story really justify your actions? apparently, for beh ah Jin, the answer is: EVERYTHING.

this is what living with a sociopath probably feels like: they are always the victim, you make them behave that way, it is all your fault. etc etc.

what is not clear from the dynamics explored in the drama is WHY her 2 Simps friends stick by her side.
manipulators are charming, they love bomb you , make you feel special and on the top of world to lure you in and then control you, but beh ah Jin doesn't have to do shit.
she treats her frienda like disposable tools form the very beginning and isnt shy about it.
you never see do anything for them, not even "bribing" her poor friend to keep him close.
nothing. she is always complaining that she is the victim or that and this, is all their fault bla bla bla.

Guilt tripping someone can only take you so far.. but these 2 are willing to die for her
. like .. literally.

they clearly know she is the crazy one commiting crimes left and right but still, they stick to her side pretending in your heads she is a poor lady who needs to be saved.. mainly from herself.

they all know in full details what she does , especially her best friend, but somhow, they still think there is a spark of humanity in this empty sheel of a human.

I liked that beh ah Jin , is not the perfect mastermind. media portray sociopaths and psychopaths like geniuses which is true in some cases, they have a high IQ, but not all manipulators are super intelligent, beh ah Jin being one of them.
she never knows when to stop, even when it clearly will backfire. she always exaggerate and gets in more trouble.

during the drama she keeps saying she just wants a normal life, but that's just another lie she feeds to everyone.

and let me add that without her minions she wouldn t have anything. she is unable to provide or defend herself. she is too dependent on these 2 Simps.. but they never get anything more then crumbs of her attentions.

even in the end, they literally sacrifice them selves to "save" her ass.

I still don't know if the ending is good or disappointing.
there is no justice in this world, that's basically the message throughout.

maybe she should have been the one to die at her pick, just like she always wanted.

let's talk about the drama before this becomes a beh ah Jin essay.

acting? good. the main female lead is pretty good and believable as a white canvas empty of emotions.
the best friend... I see him in many dramas and he always look the same.

the others actors were all pros and did an excellent job.

entertaining value? pretty good. it keeps you glued to the screen until the last second.

overall all if you like flawed characters and a good ( still very fictional) portrait of bad people , this is a good drama

good start ..boring end

I saw many positive reviews so I decided to give it a chance.

the start was really good, nothing innovative, but a good story line.

the main female lead works as a secretary for the main male lead. she realises her whole life is committed to her work with little time left for her personal life.
when she communicates her will to leave the company the main lead slowly realises he cannot live without his precious secretary.

it could have been a good starting point, but forward in the story, it's clear that he was already in love with her from the very beginning. he hired her specifically because of their shared past. so, the whole "I don't know why I don't want to let her go" from the very first episodes doesn't make any sense.

the plot thickens when we discover that the protagonists were both held captive as kids by the same woman and developed an "obsession" for lack of better words, about finding the other kid that shared a traumatic experience with them.

after the first half of the series which includes the "kidnapped" plotline, the drama becomes really boring. nothing of substance really happens and the protagonists only talk about how much they love each other. the " slow motion falling into his arms scenes" are unnecessary copious.

the only good thing about this drama is that if you are a fan of the main actor, you won't be disappointed. he s undressed in many scenes, acts cute, talks how a "perfect romantic boyfriend " should talk.

if you are looking for a "cheesy drama" with lot of kisses this drama will do .

overall all is not "bad" but it drags out for too long.

I finished "crazy love" before this and It was much more fun and entertaining.

definitely worth watching!!!

if you are looking for a drama full of beautiful dresses, kingdoms at war and a love blooming despite the odds look no further.

plot: two reigns on opposite sides because of a previous betrayal decide to set aside their disagreement and merge into a peaceful family...or so we though.

our FL is given out as wife to a rival kingdom in order to smooth out their previous tumultuous past, but not everyone in the new family is so willing to put aside the past, especially her new to be husbands.

the FL and the ml throughout the drama go from opposite sides to solid couple willing to fight for the right cause and their marriage.

the central plot of the story revolves around the marriage but mostly the rivalry between all the kingdoms on this lands.

court intrigues, betrayal, love, family boundaries are all fundamental pieces of this drama and they are fleshed out pretty well.

the story is engaging, the pace is very good, you never get bored.... almost

while the love story is engaging and the fights between reigns are exacting not all plot lines are equally engaging.

towards the middle part we get a couple of sloppy episodes about a unrequired love by one of the male characters.
I have to admit this is the only part I didn't quite like but it gets over pretty fast.

another complaint I have for the finale.
it feels Rushed... but not in the sense that something is missing from the plot, but I think that they should have add a couple more episodes.

we don't get to experience the hopelessness we are supposed to feel cause the battle end too quickly.

I feel the production was late and it is quite a pity.
the battle scenes and fighting choreography are quite good along the drama.
I would have loved to see more of the final battles which were cut really short.

at the end they all get what they deserve (good and bad people) so you will not be unsatisfied.

the actors are top notch and the drama itself is beautiful to watch.

waste of time.

if you wanna spend 1 hour looking at hot guys go ahead🤣 ... that's all you get.
the plot is very simple. country guy ends up in the big city, meets cute guys, falls in love instantly and gets cut up in a "triangle" for like 4 minutes.
the story could have had potential but these 8 short episodes give us pretty much nothing of substance.
there is better stuff (even among short bl's dramas).

only plus point: the main guy gets finally a "nice" character. I always see him playing "villains". 😅😅

cute and SHORT feel good drama.

I ve Seen this drama
you saw this drama
we've all seen it a million times but it still feels good.
if you are looking for a short drama while being in a rut this one is a decent choice.

the story is very predictable but it still manages to be cute thanks to the performance of the main leads. i don't feel they have a particular strong chemistry but they still manage to be convincing.

office drama plot: young intern meets his new rude roommate which we find soon out... is of course his new boss. feelings start growing between them and the rest is history as we all know.

they only issues I have is that we don't get many scenes of them "living their love". it Is implied that they spent some time together before...cough cough spoiler... their big fight... but we don't really see any of that.

skinship wise this drama is definitely lacking. kisses were a bit awkard and sparse.

nothing more to say actually. being that short there is not much to talk about but it is still cute.

bland....at best.

I didn't watch the series meaning I didn't have any previous attachment towards this story. my opinion is solely based on this movie.

it s hard to rate this movie.
the plot could have had some potential but the fact that a literal kid is a bodyguard is too ridiculous.
I laughed my ass off when he started beating up the president 's personal guards.. c'mon guys.. that's a teen ager.

there is some chemistry between the actor and that s probably the only good part.

there aren't any significant secondary characters. the "girlfriend" pops out of nowhere and plays basically no role in this movie.

the fact that actors all looked over 28 didn't help that much.

the love story could have being intriguing but there isn't much of an explanation about their past together.

in the end the plot had potential but they didn't do much with it.
the love story isn't flashed out, we don't nothing on that side.
should you watch it?
I think no.
the cinematography is good but the film just isn't enough.

p.s. they take themselves so seriously in this movie I laughed many times

not excellent but not the worst...thanks to the peacemaker!

I have to take into consideration that this is a very short drama. only 8 episodes, 10ish minutes each.

the plot per Se Is not the worst.

high schooler falls in love with the school super star and follows him to university to help him achieving his dreams.

I think it was executed well. when it comes to cheese dramas I have to suspend my disbelief cause who d follow a guy to university... a guy you didn't even a relationship with? but this is a drama and these are the rules we must obey😁

the best part I think is the peacemaker guy. they gave him someback story, Motivation, a moral compass and some struggle.
the other guy literally gets one line to express that his rich dad doesn't approve of his choices.

they cold guy starts falling for the peacemaker seeing how much this guy worked to support him and himself as well.

the love story per Se wasn't that compelling.

if you are looking for a "physical drama" that s not not the case.
we get some friendly hugs and one kiss at the end.

this drama was so short I didn't really feel the "butterflies" but if you have nothing to watch.. why know?
it won't be groundbreaking but that line at the post office will definitely feel shorter.

really good movie but it didn't quite hit the mark for me.

if you saw that movie with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler you more or less know what we are talking about.
a guy asks a girl out, set girl Is unable to form new memory and he tries hard to make her happy every single day.

spoiler alert

unlike the Adam Sandler one we don't get a cheesy happy ending.

the first complaint is that the reason why they start dating is idiotic. in order to save a friend (a friend we won't see any more) a guy ask a girl out without really feeling it just to please some bullies. I don't know what this is all about but it sounds really dumb.

from the very get go we know he is gonna die. the film spoils it for you when the FL while cleaning her room finds out an old note book.
some people don't mind to learn these kind of info beforehand but to me it kinda ruined it all a bit.

their love story is really sweet but in the movie we don't find much out about any of the characters except for the ml family background which is there for plot reasons like bonding with Izumi over literature interest or "correct" Maori s notebook.

It also took me some minutes to get accostumed to the couple cause I saw them in a different dramas where the ml was the FL gay best friend.🤣
that aside they have good chemistry.

even though I knew he was about to die somehow, his disappearence wasn't build up
in a good way. it was to sudden. we never see him suffer or struggling.

the best and emotional part is definitely the second part of the movie when they start "erasing" the ml for all the notebooks. that was really emotional to be honest.

as I said we don't get a cheesy happy ending but somehow taoru Kun manages to keep living in Maori s "muscle" memory and notes.

definitely an enjoyable movie. sad.. but not devasting cause they missed the climax I guess.

maybe it's just me.

nothing exciting but still enjoyable.

this series is very standard, even predictable but somehow I still enjoyed it.
the only thing that really bothered me is the female lead.... she has such a dead pan expression. everybody else is good but the FL is just so dead in her expressions.

plot: a chaebol is trying to avoid his "future" by marrying a friend that he thinks his family will disapprove. this friend is the only one he can marry because he is also hiding the fact he is actually gay.
his brother at the beginning is opposing the wedding but then something happens....

the actors are all good except for the FL which I can really bring myself to appreciate... sometimes it seems she doesn't even want to be there.

overall this is a simple, nice show. nothing special but if you want to see the same stuff you already liked this is fine.

boring.

I ditched the drama two episodes from the very end. I know it is a very short drama but it was sooooo fricking boring. nothing new on the horizon.

the story ( if we can call it that way) is about a shy guy who was excluded from his peers opening up after meeting the "nice" girl from his class.
her "trouble" is that due to her parents jobs (I guess, it's not that clear) she has no free time to spend as a normal teenager and stays home all the time .
they start meeting at her house and spending all evenings together. they obviously fall in love and .. that's basically it.
the side characters are really irrelevant. there is not much happening.
it is cheesy in a very boring way.
I saw better high school dramas and this really add nothing up.

skip it, you wont miss anything.
the only cute thing is the main character that looks like a lost puppy.

don't Miss IT... but don't overestimate IT.

short summary:
three friends run a guest house that is not really successful. one day they discover an "abandoned" baby in one of the rooms and decide to wait for the parents to show up before calling the police. when the mom does show up they find out that this girls has basically nowhere to go therefore they hire her as a "maid" and start living all together with some other friends.

i Saw Many excelent reviews about this Drama and was really exicted about it. don't get me wrong, I'm not disappointed but this is not the perfect drama that people want you to believe.
it is indeed funny, the gags are copious and cute but some episode were really hard to get through.
the sketches were highly predictable, not very ingenious and I've found myself skipping many scenes. overall it is a really good drama with good actors and and a cozy atmosphere.
the main issue lies in the main couple. their love story was really boring, not developed at all and the character of Yoon ah was frankly sooooo boring.
we never get to know why she left the baby in this guest house specifically.
the real star of the show is the character of Joon ki. he's the highlight of the whole series. his character is so funny and his scenes are unforgettable like the "gwenchana" scene with Rebecca the car.
if you are looking for a good laugh, cute moments, good chemistry between actors look no further.
I can't wait to start season 2
