For the context, you may check the 1.0 rating reviews given by CQL hardcore fan for the sake of "balancing" in the reviews section. Personally I think 1.0 review is an insult to the people working in the creative industry because no drama deserves 1.0 rating, there were tons of hardwork behind the scene and there were people working on it day and night.
I'm a long term user sitting here in this thread. I've been here before the comments hit 1K. I've seen tons of comments, from good to bad, from ok to homophobic one also comparison comments coming from CQL hardcore fans. It was ok to compare thou at the beginning given the people perhaps not familiar with the genre but it became annoying because personally I've seen several hardcore CQL fans spreading hate narration towards the drama everywhere even in the editorial section talking about general stuff. You may go to recent wuxia editorial piece for this context. Most of us sitting here didn't go to CQL wall flaunting about WOH nor gave the 1.0 rating to CQL. I've been in CQL page as well before.
In the fandom, noted that there's always be bad apple, we here just want to enjoy the drama as much as you do with CQL and personally I don't wanna go down from the mountain just yet :)
Dangai 1O1 is still ON in China, there will be many BL adaptations and personally I would like to enjoy that without any expectation just like the 1st time when I watched WOH because each story is unique and each creation is unique as well.

Professionally they are strong together and people noticed that, not just fans but also general public even public figure. Brands also noticed this, that's why brand like Tom Ford signed both of them to sell the same thing basically. Business and commercial wise, they both have strong value and it's double when they are together. Imagine the number of brands sponsors queuing up to invest in the show just because both of them in it.
Personally, from what I've seen in the after concert footage and in the concert footage, the relationship is good between them. It's so good until ZZH promising "forever" to GJ in front of many people. ZZH is someone who's really careful with his choice of words and also deep thinker (and highly intelligent as well - thanks to tons of books he has read) stated his stance during concert ending ment that he didn't want the relationship is over and asked fans to support.

For me, the problem is they rated drama with 1.0 rating because simply they are angry. It's ok if they don't like the acting, the story and cheap production compare to their fav drama (which is true, WOH only got 30% production budget compare to their fav drama) , but you don't disrespect people working hard day and night for this drama by giving score 1.0. They are people like we are here and they just did their job. Ma Jie is an awesome producer and she did an outstanding job managing the tight budget and we got awesome result like we've seen. The production crew also did an outstanding job with very limited budget but their creativity is beyond limit. The rookie scriptwriter Xiao Chu, even the Hugo Award winning writer wants her to write the screenplay for their upcoming sci-fi novel. Did they ever see this before rating the show with 1. 0 and flaunting that one specific actor in their fav drama as " the sexiest things on this planet and a marvelous vision in those moments." ???

From my bad Mandarin understanding hahaha, 山河令 literal meaning is Mountain and Rivers Order. 令 (ling) here coming from the word “(令牌) Ling pai” with literal meaning = token. This token is used in Taoism to summon something (PS: you can google it with keywords 令牌 and see the look of the token) .
Mountain and Rivers can be interpreted as the world as well so, overall meaning of 山河令 Token of Mountain and Rivers ---> the one that Ye Baiyi brings in the hero conference because he's been summoned by Gaochong to calm the chaos in the world. It's becoming "A WORD OF HONOR" because token can be identify as "promise" (just like the title of TYK 2nd book.)
The thing with mandarin is, every word has their own story and sometimes English translation can't put it with the same meaning, this is how rich the language is even for me with more than a decade of formal education, I feel illiterate sometimes (no no - it's most of the times) hahahaha.....

Honestly I don't get it why people still comparing CQL and SHL because the reality is nobody in China talked about CQL anymore as their fans already divided into 3 major fan groups (those two main actors and CP). Also in Weibo ranking, CQL is waaaaay below current airing drama and no recent discussion in DB page as well. It indicates that CQL is so yesterday. So, seriously I don't get it why people still talking about 3 years old drama and defending it like their life line depending on it here in international site.
So many current dramas airing and it will be 100 or 1000 dramas better than CQL (and WOH) too, so why limit the thinking using one drama only as benchmark? Also Dangai 1O1 is still there with WOH as the opening this year (and it's becoming successful adaptation with Chinese government owned media praising it as well) there will be so many BL adaptation in line. Wondering if those people keep comparing every BL adaptation with CQL.
Also rating drama with 1 (ONE) rating, it's an insult to production team really, creative team and people working behind the scene. The drama isn't just about two main leads or the story, but there are many people working behind the scene. I admit I ever rated the lowest drama with 4, the reasons are bad quality of acting, bad script and production quality looked so off and cheap with no continuity of the drama itself, they just cut it in the middle and the drama is old. You can hate the actors, you can hate the script, but please do respect people working in the creative industry.
