guys! need some advice.plot is not my cup of tea. even the trailer didn't feel like much. BUT, I saw some shorts…
if you really want to! 2nd couple is adorable, but not much screen time. its a short drama, so once al the episodios are out would be an easy watch. its not that special, though. i’m not into fl somuch, both the actor and the character, but other people are 🤷🏽♀️.
Jin Seyeon is an experienced actor she is acting from past 14+ years, she has worked with many actors nd created…
My comment is based on my twenty years of experience as a performer and director, of course it is based on my unique point of view. If you find yourself triggered by the fact it differs from yours, I cannot help with that. To ME, her acting takes me out. I feel she’s more connected to one actor than another, and I made a light hypothesis on mdl, not writing a professional discourse here. If I were directing the piece, which I am NOT of course, I would want to steer that energy which is already in her in order to serve the story. I can only speak for myself, but she could really use mentoring by someone outside of what she has already been doing. This is often the case with artist as we continue to grow. I am aware that we each have our preferences, and as an artist we are each drawn to different aspects in the creative process. Still, I cannot help but to feel pulled out of the story with her acting, finding myself thinking about that more than being invested in her character. I stand with my perspective, which is none other my own. Peace ✌🏽
Ms. Jin Se Yeon, I have really tried to give you a chance as our fl!
I am convinced that she as an actress really likes the actor playing Shin (Lee Jong Won). I mean ok, who wouldn’t! However, it’s making the energy between them really magnetic and the one between her and her supposed love really really weak. I don’t believe this is intentional on her part! Someone should have caught this during filming and steered her in the right direction. A good actor can really use this energy into the appropriate characterization, but she is simply a novice in her craft. Unfortunately, it feels weak in general, lacking both in character stylization and inner complexity, depth. It’s even a miss in comedic timing, which can often be compensated through editing. I spend every episode disliking her character, and some of it is for sure the epic failure of the writers through her unethical, sub-humane behavior masked as “kindness”, but at the end of the day it’s her acting that makes it fall short for me. I truly hope she finds some good mentors for her next project. If I could advise her agency, I would! Sigh. I like everyone else. Writing is also meh, but as an entertaining filler is ok, I guess. I don’t think I could have binge watched, so it’s ok to be part of the journey of live airing and to leave it all behind after. Let’s see if they bring it all together by next week 😅.
Was this always only 10 episodes? I must have been snoozing. I’m glad for the main story line, not much happening there to sustain a 16 episode drama, but our secondary leads are just getting started. They have my full attention.
The people have spoken, Yoon Park as the next romantic male lead! Or any lead. I can watch him for days, he’s so versatile.
