yea, I get that. that’s part of what I feel, it’s just a waste to have main characters that are underdeveloped simply because they are men. but that’s just my own thoughts about it…. it’s still a great story thus far, just would be more nuanced if the male characters were represented as whole people.

Not a spoiler as it’s just speculation ;) I was surprised to feel this way! I even came back to “confirm” they were listed #1 and #2 (even though I knew they were!). It would be a breath of fresh air if a drama pulled that off. This one could based on the setup! Will be interesting to see what they do nonetheless…

why are female attorneys such boss babes in this drama and male attorneys underdeveloped characters? Ms screenwriter, that was a missed opportunity! I imagine this also affected casting… All in all, I am still really enjoying it.

could it be that rates aren’t as high also because of social repercussions? why is it that in almost every drama where divorce is mentioned someone says, “I won’t give them a divorce”. in the US that is preposterous. if someone wants a divorce that’s that, the law won’t fight them to stay together. and in this show the whole idea that a “gray” divorce is bad, meaning someone that is in an unsatisfactory relationship where she is being used as a maid and wants to find out who she is outside of a relationship and everyone fights for her to change her mind, including her lawyer. there’s a reason rates are lower, and it’s not that people are better at relationships, it’s layered like everything else in culture.

I don’t think it was so black and white, he’s supposed to be trash. I really felt it was nuanced. in fact, I was rooting for him keeping the daughter at first. plus, we see “cek” grow as a human and take responsibility for the way she was negligent. that’s what I am liking about this show, it is multi-layered, except for the two male attorneys! the writers gave them the shaft! 🤦🏽‍♀️
