I watched this drama but found myself skipping many scenes. The storytelling was weak, filled with unnecessary side characters and their romantic subplots. The toxic work environment portrayed was hypocritical, condemning bullying in college while engaging in similar behavior themselves. The main female character was unlikable, and the male lead seemed overly reliant on heavy makeup. Furthermore, the downfall of all the villains and evil characters felt overly convenient.
I should have read the reviews before starting this drama. It turned out to be a wasted potential. I disliked the female lead's character, and the romance was so boring that I ended up skipping through almost all of the scenes when the leads were together. Lastly, the premise of the drama and the ending was a complete train wreck.
their only complaint was she could have told sooner as they embarrassed themselves in front of him though FL did…
me neither - I do not find them funny either. They are toxic throughout and if I had been in FL's place, I would not have accepted any lunch/dinner invites. It is best to be alone than spend time with these ladies.
Irritating. The plot is irritating. The characters are annoying. Is everyone supposed to think FL's sweet and…
I agree - Shin Yu's transformation to a loving sweetheart is baffling, unless the love spell is genuinely effective. He was initially depicted as cold and emotionally detached but suddenly he starts acting as if he just cannot survive/breathe without HJ. HJ has no qualms yelling at Shin Yu, but she is resilient when it comes to her work colleagues - she tolerates all BS despite knowing she does not have to. I do not get this!
He didn’t cheat.People assume he cheated while misunderstanding the whole context of the storylines.
@Luke -The ML did engage in emotional infidelity while still in a relationship. I would feel cheated if my partner fantasized about someone else while being with me!
In my opinion, the male lead was not assertive enough in ending his relationship with his girlfriend, and he failed to shield the person he loved the most adequately from his ex.
To be honest, I didn't like the series, to call such famous actors and so smear the plot, none of the characters…
I did not enjoy the drama either - it was too gruesome to watch especially the last couple of episodes. Having said this, I liked the love story of the main characters.
I can see why. They share same understanding/views. However, I get that they want to show that the relationship…
Her husband does not respect her. This is the reason I believe, she should go back to her acting career which she misses. I think in the end, that is what would happen too. ML's friend will convince her to take the step which she is currently reluctant to.
I just started watching and the female lead seems very annoying, does it get better?
I would have preferred some other FL (like Kim Yoo Jung). Personally, I only liked this FL in Military Prosecutor Doberman - she is suited for serious roles. Since there is no choice, it is what it is :)
I think Aeng Cho got married to the past life version of the Gardener. I remember him telling her in the earlier…
I had the same thought. Hong Jo was married to the gardener in her past life as the gardener did say that she resembled his deceased wife in the earlier episodes. He might be the one who placed the curse on the ML's family.
However, his fiancée/girlfriend is also at fault; she is involved in both emotional and physical infidelity, along with dishonesty. Even without the presence of a love interest elsewhere, this relationship was destined to fail if it had continued.
