I watch based on drama, not actor. I stopped watch this drama after I determined that the script is not to my taste.

The director and script determine the acting style .. not the actor themselves. WRTW was screen-written to be very one-dimensional ... the actual novel itself is more complex, yet mixed with exaggerations that made caricatures of the main leads. I find most C drama, unless you watch the serious ones that have depth and profound meanings, are similar in style. I consider WRTW to be an idol drama where people watching it want to feel entertained (laugh and happy ending). I am sure that if the director made it serious, lots of fans will not happy that the ML is not totally unwavering in his loyalty for the FL.

"Heard" should be qualified with experience. In TLB she didn't act like Chen QianQian ... she won a Korean International award for her role. You should not let netizens' opinion affect your judgment ... should watch and decide.

All of the things that you described is about directing ... the director determines the mood, not the actress! Having read the novel, I think WRTW is entertaining. The novel has a lot exaggerations ... if it's all serious, no one would believe it!

Perfect actor for this role! I think actor for this role needs to have a very intense look. He also needs to look young too. So they picked the right ML and FL for this role: age, looks, and personality are perfect.

It focuses on the crown prince and his dealing with them, the 3rd fiance, ...I forgot what 3rd one is about. It wasn't interesting so I didn't read them carefully.

It's not Minglan ... I didn't enjoy Minglan, but I enjoy this story.

There are 3 epilogues ... telling what happened to the characters ... one of them mention about their marriage ... but it's not the main topic.

I really love the voice of the actors themselves. It's not perfect ... but it's so much better than the sub ... it goes with the person's character like when CSS said "I will not listen to you ... " ... like a real rebellious teen talking.

Yes, the FL supposed to have timed traveled ... That's why she's so different from other girls. She was a physics/science major so she can build things ...

He likes her from the Lantern Festival. When they met again (that's where he got shot with arrow), he felt that his fate is sealed. So he likes her first. She likes him but was resistant because she was afraid to lose her independence.

I like this book ... it actually has a lot of meat as opposed to just romance.

I feel that she is more expressive than he in the tragic and dramatic section in the trailer. We will see.
