I agree .. WRTW changes too much, especially the palace scenes and the ending. I think this drama will also change to accommodate the ML's more screen time.

The trailer seems to follow the book in these scenes: pulling out the arrow from his chest using the string, the lantern festival, she was punished, the palace scene, etc The first drama will be fun and romantic. Also, some serious drama as the male lead's past is revealed. The scenes from the book seem to come to life! ZL is perfect for this role!

This person is interesting and contradicting: ... " i have realized that i just dont vibe with any drama that has lusi in it . yang yang is a hit or miss" ... and yet she seems to look out for these actors' drama to watch and makes a comment. If she already knows (AND it's a very acceptable thing to not watch any drama with the actor/actress that you don't like), she should not come to any drama that has them in there.

I just translated the 2 chapters in which the 3 main leads first met at the Lantern Festival. This meeting changed their lives forever. The short trailer on YouTube shows a street full of lanterns so I think these chapters should make it into the drama. It's a similar storyline for the ML (someone killed his family) but different for the FL. In WRTW, she is a secure person who is loved by her family. In this drama, she was abandoned by her family ... then the ML seemingly betrayed her trust ... However, she is a lively and fun person to be with (otherwise, she wouldn't have so many people like her) so I would expect some funny scenes.

When I have time I will add more excerpts. I am trying to finish my own book right now it's tough to get extra time. I don't mind translating it because it makes me look at the text in details. I am so lucky that this book also has YouTube audio so most of the time I just listen while doing other things.

I am actually reading the translated version in Vietnamese, which is almost a true translation of Chinese because in the old days, Vietnamese uses actually Chinese words and characters. All the old phrases are the same. I heard there is an English translation on Watpad. I also post some interesting chapters in the discussion. The book is quite long and very descriptive. Both ML and FL have interesting stories.

I think it should be good. I am reading the book. They show some scenes in the trailer that are similar to the book. I think if the story is good, it should be fine. The story itself has a lot of meat so they don't need to make up extra filler scenes.

It's getting exciting in the 3rd theme of the book. I just translated a short description of a scene when they met after 5 years.

I think it will from what I hear. They are taking away the time travel part and most likely will develop the ML's side. There are scenes from the trailers that translate directly to scenes from the book.
