I was thinking this sounds hella familiar and realized it's because its an adaptation of akuma de sourou ahaha. I'm gonna try this despite it being an old drama since I loved the manga and the comments on this seem not too bad.
6.5/10 it started off ok and then it was like wtf the logic of the story just didnt make much sense but tbh tht just made me laugh bc it was getting so nonsensical.
gave it a 7.5 instead of 7.0 bc of the ending. the drama dragged out for way too long imo (i was getting a bit…
what i meant by upping the rating for the ending was simply bc it made me cry (which i didn't think i would). probably bc i shipped hongshuo and hongyi ;( but ig the last moments were kinda abrupt and rushed compared to the rest of the episodes so ehh.
gave it a 7.5 instead of 7.0 bc of the ending. the drama dragged out for way too long imo (i was getting a bit bored in the middle and had to put it on 2x speed). think they could've made this more enjoyable for everyone if it was at most 30 episodes instead but o well. I think my favorite part was the beginning before shit went down and then the end basically lmao.
I really like Wu Lei, but yeah for this role I feel like Qu Chuxiao would've been better. Seeing him next to Dilireba…
i am getting that feeling too.. also since ive read the manhua the last person i expected to get the role of ashina sun is wu lei since he looks more of the boyish type (hope thats not offensive or anything, 20 is actually still pretty young, go youth!). I also never rlly imagined dilraba as li changge but i guess i can go with it
HOLY SHIT THIS IS MY FAVORITE MANHUA ... but the cast is so not what i expected haha. great actors but woah. Ive always wanted this to be made into a drama after i saw a beautiful cosplay of it though :0
I know hamster deleted the novel translation due to the plagiarism scandal, but does anyone have the translation bc i still want to read it before I read pillow book.
if you're talking abt the negative impact all this is having on the agency then yea me too. I was waiting for…
thats true but i think it also depends how popular the drama itself will be. There are only so many dramas available tht hit it big and throwing her into any random leading role would not solve tht problem. maybe this was their second best option.

you might be right.. maybe the agency is handing her the roles they want her to be in rather than her actually trying out for what she wants? but i feel like most cdramas have skewed casting anyways :/ though i do think her support role is probably at least an important role with lots of screen time (and yang zi is the lead who is currently more popular than PXR to mainlanders probably)
I thought he entered the painting like the Baekdu tiger did just to have an imaginary world where he can see her…
woah ur interpretation opened my mind. I also think he didnt eat the medicine but gave it to yu na instead, which could explain what u think maybe. but he also said he remembers the promise he made with man wol so i was like did u eat the meds or not ?

Funny side note tho is tht i just watched Arsenal Military Academy before this and almost all the main characters are the same cast HAHA
