wow when i first heard there would be a second season with different leads I was really put off and uninterested, but I love Mike and Esther seems to really fit this role from what I see in the trailer so now I'm kinda excited!

Exactly! That's why I love reading chinese webnovels where the female lead is cunning/has one extremely powerful trait (like yunxi with poison) and usually knows what she's doing. After all we love seeing empowered women :)

for a second I thought this was based off the novel miao miao miao because the MC is a cat demon (similar concept lol), but I'm glad I found this! (also I really wish miao miao miao could be made into a drama adaptation on par with san sheng san shi or ashes of love TT)

something about this drama just throws me off, so im not sure whether I should watch it or not. I usually manage to pull off finishing these types of dramas with a bunch of skipping tho lol

yayy, another chinese youth drama adapted from a novel. these are so great though i'm lazy to read the novels but its nice to see it acted out.

but if she manages to get hired despite how annoying her voice is.. maybe that's what mainlanders like LOL. or maybe they just wanted their characters to have annoying voices for some odd reason :/

Usually when writers leave the ending ambiguous its meant to be open to the viewer's own interpretation. So really you can imagine all you want for what will happen based off the very last scene. I was a bit disappointed at first bc i wanted a sappy ending and get together but now im just slightly satisfied. a second season does sound like a great idea though!

I just realized tht it must be a bit awkward since bogum and song joong ki are friends but (business relations aside and all) pbg and song hye kyo are a couple in this drama. Imagine having to do kiss scenes with your friend's wife sjdj T

yea Queen In Hyun's man is definitely a classic. I liked W bc of the modern touch and webcomic theme. I cant bear to chochoose btwn them tho

wow i didnt realize it was the same writer, but I feel like plot holes.. well, every story has them here and there. I like the overall theme of her works with the world building like u said. I find it very innovative. But yea if i think abt it more the female lead was more of an emotional support character for jin woo. There was some character development seen when she moved to seoul but honestly i didnt EXPECT her to start playing the game/leveling up to help him in-game bc i could guess thats not what her role was gonna be for
