I was in middle school in 2012 and my classmates all had iphones damn. but this drama really makes me want to restart my life, rewrite my personality, and get myself a man like Zhang Lurang bc im single af 😩 I know its just a story but I'm so envious of their relationship, like this is so unhealthy for me HAHA

First time I rate a drama a full 10 stars. This drama is all fluff, tickling my insides, making me giggle every minute. I feel like this was akin to a documentary of Rang rang and Zai Zai's relationship, fast paced and focusing on their relationship without giving too much time to the scenes that most other dramas would stuff in there to create a draggy and frustrating plot (that alone justifies the high rating imo). I'm gonna read the novel after this so I can still see rang rang and zai zai more 😭

lol everyone shook by the age gap but I'm here like after The Forbidden Flower I'm almost unfazed. Like the chemistry in that drama was so good even though they were also 20 years apart, it left me confused FR how they had such good chemistry 😭. But Zhang Miaoyi looks more baby than Xu Ruohan even tho theyre like the same age so tht might be affecting my opinion somewhat lol.

Also rather than the age gap in this drama yall might be more shocked to learn that Dylan is actually dating someone 19 years younger than him irl 💀

Unpopular opinion, but to me Mo Bao Fei Bao's writing style is so sleep inducing??? Like her novels are good and I liked them but they also made me literally fall asleep while reading them 😭. I have read like 3 of her novels and seen a few of the drama adaptations and they were all really nice stories that I felt maybe could have had better execution. IDK if it's just me bc I mentioned this to my friend and she also agreed AKSKDSKS

Anyway I say this because I've been wanting to read this novel too and it sounds so cute but I'm scared of it making me fall asleep again LOL

When I first saw the trailer I thought this was an adaptation of the webtoon You At First Sight.

Kind of similar character but it's been a while since I read that and now I realize the differences lol.

nah, I'm more interested in romance genre tbh so I haven't watched that. I like the blend of romance and sports otherwise I would probably get bored very easily haha.

I did notice there's not much tennis live actions which got me interested bc I used to play tennis so I took a look at the POT drama trailer but the ball looked so CGI edited i was kinda put off LOL. They do a better job blending it in this drama

Does anyone know why there are so many chinese stories with speed skating LOL. I feel like this is the fourth one or something. Did it become popularized because Skate into Love was such a huge hit? Though I see some of these are also based off novels and idk if the publish dates are earlier or later than Skate into Love's novel. Just curious and interesing to see haha

I just finished and it's the only cdrama I would rate above 8.5 stars. Idk why I just really liked it haha. I feel like China does pretty good with sports dramas. I also watch anime and I have never been that into sports animes but I have watched and liked a handful of sports cdramas lol.

And I have to say I wouldn't classify any Wu Lei drama as an 'Idol Drama' as Wu Lei isn't like your typical pretty faced idol and hes been in the acting industry a lot longer, he definitely has more skills at least! I really look up to him and how far he's come in his career.

that's what I wasn't sure about either. I think they are in the same sword though bc there is only one sword. maybe bc the mirror heart technique was performed near that circular thing on the platform (i forgot the name) that helped them reincarnate as a sword spirit together?

o gosh i died laughing reading the novel for this and hoped it would be adapted to a drama. I hope they make it funny still but not too cringy haha

well they died but if you watch the epilogue they're technically still alive as a sword spirit, but im not sure if they remember the past or not. But I agree i rated this 7.5 only bc of the decent level of production but i feel like it wouldve been better if they cut out half the nonsense. I didn't read the novel but I blame the author for dragging it on (sorry author lol).

true, that's kinda why I wish they stuck to the novel character setting. BC based on the novels between these two DFQC is more heartless to FL (bc in the novel there was no regaining his emotions part). But I wonder how the drama will portray Sima Jiao.
