I don't see Kase in that way either towards Rio, I never once thought that he loved Rio romantically. Maybe, I'm…
Wow it's very nice to see alot think like me too that Kase isn't interested in Rio romantically even in slightess. Rio is his family and I think his bond with Rio was probably more deep than Rio with Daiki cuz well Rio and Kase are family.
I think Kase agreeing with Tatsuo was cuz of his past somehow, that he already an orphaned since young age. I wish it dig Kase past more tho to make a more solid reason why he is agreeing.
Sorry for replying after months, I just finished this show and can't get it out of my head
Is there really a "reason" for a romance in the drama? It's part of the story, and part of the character.I do…
For me, yes. There's many thing to explore with EAW, but imo romance is not one of them. Cuz it didn't properly propose the background of why romance is imporant and should be included. If it want to have romance, EAW should have created stronger background why it should be told. I don't mind a little romance, but this just a bit too much when there's so many things to explore that has more sense of importance (Youngwo as lawyer, autism prejudice, etc)
This is probably the first kdrama that I enjoy, but as the series progress I have more and more concern. I only have watched upto ep.4, but the romance subplot already bothering me. In Extraordinary Attorney Woo the romance feels very very unecessary since it has no conflict or any urgency to why there's romance. It feels like filler and it got way to much duration for what it's worth. If it want to propose a romance in it, why not give some sense of conflict. Like how Youngwo deals with her autism spectrum and her dificulty finding love within herself and from others. It's like Extraordinary Attorney Woo has romance in it just for the sake of it, not because it's important or have any substance.
The case also isn't explore much nor about living as and with autism spectrum person. It got potential, but it didn't lives up to it.
Also seeing many people here comented about the romance in further episodes, I doubt I'll enjoy it more and maybe will droped it when I don't enjoy it anymore
Wait. I dont get the last ep.So is Koharu alive? I thought she was killed when she fell down the stairs during…
I think Koharu is dead. Miwa said "Aki doesn't want to leave this world (suicide) before she sees Koharu again". and then when Todo asked did you see Koharu again, Aki said yes. I think it's implementing she already saw "Koharu". Some people also point out Aki shoes fulls of mud, implying she just went to the woods to see "Koharu"
this will be frustrating to watch if you're class conscious, they don't dig deep enough into the issues, its all…
Hana Nochi Hare (HYD sequel/next generation) played with the same tropes but can be 100% unproblematic. It did have different set of characters tho, so that helps alot too

I really liked the chemistry between Gorya and Thyme. Bright and Tu are an amazing pair. However, Is it just me…
I feel the same ๐ Even I can't wrap my head why Gorya finally go to Thyme in that clock tower on ep3. Let alone on ep 7. I just feel like in this version, they don't build up enough reason why Gorya fell for Thyme and not Ren
I donโt think I can get into this showโฆ iโm only on the first episode and the bullying is just way too triggering…
Don't push yourself. The hardest bullying is in episode 1, 5, and 10-11, but there are a lot of triggering things too beside bullying, like violence and abuse. If it's not for you and it's triggering you, then I sugest you to just drop it. You won't miss out on anything, there are alot of other series that you'll enjoy
I know this gonna be sad but I didn't know it's THAT SAD :") like I know you know the ending, but still, prepare A LOT of tissue nearby because it will wrecks you inside out. Anyway I love it, Kenty and Nagayama Kento acting are great!
