The whole I left you for your own good thing doesn't sit right with me. But it atleast humanizes her father.
I don't think it suppose to be right anyway. It doesn't make him the cold-hearted killer robot, but makes him envious, selfish, bastard father. He genuinely sucks as human being and father
this is the first time I watched cdrama... as jdrama fan, cdrama is too intimidating with so many episode compared to short jdrama. But I have to say... I can't stop watching from the first episode. And oh my the acting of Ziqiu actor and Jianjian actress, and Dad Li and Dad Ling... So good, especially Ziqiu actor. His acting so good I persuaded to watch his other project
such a fun absurd, yet touching movie! only planned to watched first few minutes (cuz it still work days), but I got so into it I finished it in one go 😂 very much recomended
it's actually a good drama. the only reason people hate it is the ending. not because she didn't end up with Shoji…
kinda dissapoint with Yui development too, even tho I really like other character development, especially Taishi.
I mostly dissapoint that Yui is like her mother who she don't wanna end up to be like. I understand she wants to be free and that marriage doesn't suit her. but saying life is too short to just love one guy is kinda too much 😅😅😅
wait... I came here after watch 4 eps and I actually really like it 😅 turns out so many ppl hate it 😅😅😅
imo it's funny and very dorama, even tho it's netflix production. it has well balance of dorama and "bougie" side of netflix. the characters, comedy, and plot are very dorama, but the cinematography and styling is quite lavish (something we don't see often in dorama)
I specifically watch the korean version first to give it a chance against this japanese version (I know I'll like the jdrama more cuz I like jdrama better and it's KimuTaku). I almost finished the korean one, but I'm too curious about the jdrama ver so I watched 2 ep of it and wow the difference. The korean ver is very melodramatic and focused more on ML/FL romance. I haven't got to ML/FL relationship in jdrama, but even in earlier ep, it focused alot more on ML and FL brother
start watching this randomly on netflix cuz of kimutaku (duh). Regret why I haven't watch it sooner cuz it's so gripping. It's kind of a mystery? yet very family drama at the same time. very curious of how it ends
I LOVE IT!! quite hesitant at first, but my mom really like this, so I give a try and omg it's so funny!! XD I love Hotaru character, Ayase really nailed her. I'm still at ep 4 tho, and it's kinda confusing on how much it spent time building Hotaru and Makoto relationship when I know Hotaru will ends up with Takano-bucho (I already saw lots dorama to know that Hotaru will likely will be with Takano LOL)
