Hmm it's an adaptation, they can do some original take if they want to. Every version has done some sort of original story they made to fit the story they want to tell. F4 Thai aren't mandated to follow the original storyline (the manga), they should just tell their own on what the narrative they want.

EXACTLY!! All of them are too adult, too understanding. It's true that most problem happen in this story was because they were TOO hormonal XD that's the fun part, to see the character acknowledge their own feelings, their own thoughts, figuring out how to work things out. But this version is like I said before... They were too logical, too understanding, too advance to be put thru a little misunderstanding like in ep 6 XD I wish this version just made a original storyline instead and not following the HYD storyline too much

This is true. I somewhat always feels she is a bit egoistical in every version, but her and SML relationship broke up was never clear in any version. So it was never clear which faults is it and why it not worked out. I don't think this version handle it better on how they broke up given it was so explicitely explained... Their relationship falling apart in this version was... Ridiculous -_-

YES!! I felt the same. Also the way characters in this version always communicate clearly makes the whole missunderstanding seem so out of place. Gorya lied twice to Thyme was just really weird, Gorya didn't listen to Thyme when he hit Tesla also really frustating. Whereas in HYD, both Domyoji and Makino are really prideful and stubbordn person. Domyoji didn't want to say the reason he hit Nakatsuka cuz he is too pridefull, so ofc the missunderstanding gonna happen. And plus Rui was more misleading than Ren. So the missunderstanding are more hurtfull in HYD version. And Jun's expression as Domyoji? Cheff kiss. He owned that role.

Now also lets talk about Ren :) his character change also a double edge sword. Thai version decide to break his enigma as prince and making him human in Gorya's eyes. Gorya see Ren as Ren not prince Ren like in other version. Now I can not see why Gorya can't be with Ren TnT

Point 1 in baddiestall post. Even before Thyme hit Tesla, Gorya still pretty hostile to Thyme and always annoyed at him

The hostile part is not the part after Thyme punch Tesla, but before. Like what OP said in point 1

Actually I don't like how "nice" Tesla is, it decrease the reason on why Thyme hit him........ I also didn't understand why the script still made Gorya so hostile towards Thyme when we supposed to root for them 😅

Because I'm not used to people saying their feelings and thoughts so clearly.... Where I came from, ppl rarely said their minds so clearly like that, especially on how they feels. So it was very strange for me to see these character said their feelings so easily and talking thru issue like that LOL

Honestly I get what you are saying. Some development are indeed too sudden for me too. I too question why the dialogue seem so unnatural for me, they always said their feelings and thoughts so clearly... But some ppl like it this way so yeah, I guess I just can't relate to the characters cuz I always bottled up my feelings and thoughts XD

Also it's kinda ironic that you said this show is about style and not subtance where the original titled literally means subtance over style XD Hana Yori Dango (the original titled) or translated as Boys Over Flowers is a wordplay of a japanase idiom "Dumpling over Flowers" that means substance is more important than beauty/style

I think it depends on where you are from. In my school even if there's bullying happens, it not as severe too. But some of friend told me that student in other school isn't so lucky, or sometimes in other country

A really fun, light drama! No complains for what it is 🥰 also kame and yamapi looks like they having so much fun haha. 8/10
