Cute but unmemorable

A pretty sweet drama that reminds me a lot of those older mid-2010s dramas that blend real-life family drama with some sort of fantasy element. I really liked the angel role for the ML; the acting is wonderful. This is different from any premise I've seen before and the juxtaposition between his optimism and the FL's cynicism made for very interesting growth on both their ends.

With that being said though, I think I was VERY over the family politics; the evil people were very obviously evil and it felt like the sabotage and the FL were sort of going in circles for a lot of episodes. There's very little depth to the antagonist characters which just made watching them drive the plot very frustrating.

The drama is at its best when both plots — the angel one and the family drama — are intertwined; I also liked the second male lead a lot, not as a viable romantic interest, but because of his history and how he served as the bridge between the two worlds. Still, as much as I like the premise of the angels though, I still don't think the show used it to its fullest potential and I'm not sure I felt the stakes. The ending feels a little rushed and I feel like it leaves plenty of questions about the world-building.
