This was a pretty fun watch; the premise is really interesting and I liked the juxtaposition between Day and Night's worldviews. I think the characters are the strongest aspect of the show actually — not just the Day/Night contrast but also the dynamic between every combination of duos — how tightly Day cared for Ozone because he was all he had vs. how Night pushed Dream away out of fear and wanting to protect her, as well as how Dream and Ozone ended up bonding and having the cutest friendship ever.

The plot, on the other hand, is definitely a little weak. When I actually think about it, the team's investigation into the Leap Day curse becomes very flimsy. They flip some drawings around, ask some people some questions and are told some things, and that's just kind of it? It felt like an overly simple way to get the right answer but I'm not sure I even follow the logical progression of how they got there.

Overall, if I don't think too much I still enjoyed this one, but definitely more for the characters than for the story.
