When watching the multiple trailers, including that of TVN, it's quite obvious LHS has been in love with Mi Ji…
I'm really puzzled by this too. There was a school days scene that implied he was dating Mi Rae. Maybe he did? Or Mi Ji thought he did when he actually wasn't?
Or maybe after she lost the her chance at a scholarship, she was left behind while he and Mi Rae went off the university. And they were just separated by distance.
I feel, as adults, Mi Ji seemed to have more of a crush on LHS in the first episode.
There was also the school award scene, where Mi Ji was getting an award and when she looked at the audience her sister was barley applauding and seemed to look at her phone. I was wondering what that was about?
I don’t like flashbacks often (though for some shows they are needed and work beautifully) but want more of…
Interesting how they chose to use different actors for the flashbacks. Most of the time they don't. At first, I didn't even realised they were different actors!
I love the premise. Finally a FL who is not all "Aah", "Eeeh" and the rest of the vowels when a man approaches…
I really like Jdramas - some are very poetic. But I agree, as a western person, it's hard to connect to a FL that always seems surprised and taken aback by the most ordinary interaction with a ML.
Thanks I'll try that. It seems like a really cute show which I could use right now! I find the two leads quite endearing. I like the quirky mannerisms of the ML.
