I hate how first, they showed us that ML is kind and good man who loves his wife some much. But later in the episodes…
I agree the FL was really not a good person. She just never gave a thought to her husband. I think in a way, the husband's reaction was realistic. Affairs can really drive the spouse being cheated on crazy.
I think this drama was well done. It's a difficult subject but I think the infidelity is portrayed realistically - basically good people can be selfish, thoughtless and get caught up in satisfying their own egos. The FL was very mean to her poor husband. I really wish more time was spent with Arishima's wife. I love that actress. She was the most sympathetic and moral character.
I really enjoyed the drama up to ep 19. It was fast paced, unpredictable and full of energy. There were scenes that I rewatched multiple times - like when HanYan disrobes in front of YunXi. After ep 19, the drama's storyline becomes more typical of your ordinary Cdrama. That was disappointing. But overall it was an well done drama and I watched every episode til the end - which is something I haven't done in a long time.
I was absolutely obsessed with this until ep 19. All I thought abt was this show😠I feel like the plot has…
I agree it had such great momentum. But this is so much the case with cdramas - they just lose their steam. I don't know if it has to do with censorship - that they play it safe with the storyline?
Just finished ep 22. I feel like I'm watching a different drama. The plot lines went from fast paced, high energy to predictably boring. What happened???
I preferred the styling of Hanyan before she got married. Her beauty shone more. I think her married dress and ornamentation is too elaborate. Especially as I don't think the ML is of a particularly high rank.
Why are they making their marriage so complicated ? The ML i think has made his intentions clear enough . So what…
I have a feeling that he might be using her to get to her dad. The whole scene where she eavesdrops on him in the hospital now seems like a set up to me. It was to get her to trust him to further the trap for her dad.
