Yup. Theres one called Lost Romance, 20 episodes. It started early June.. but will only finish in mid October. Seriously one episode a week. Its like pain in the neck long wait. Thank goodness some of my C dramas air more frequently.

On weibo alot of ppl are spitting blood from tonyt's episode and the equally dampening preview for tomoro..so many commented they want to abandon the drama. Sigh. Pls dont lers persevere. Light at the end of the tunnel soon. Go watch some filler fluffier dramas and come back on saturday

I thk the worst thg is obviously the wait..esp when u r really into it and cant wait to see how the story unfolds. For Kdramas, 2per week is misery..for Twdramas, 1 a week calls for serious meditation. I try my best to only start a currently airing drama if half of it is aired.. but sometimes you just couldnt help yourself.

I believe they will breakup and part for awhile. But LX's issues with his mom will be resolved somehow. I believe JJ and LX will reconcile and they will have their happily together forever.

I just wish the music was quieter so i can hear the words and narration clearer. .lol. But LX said it he feels he owes his mother (a debt he pays at the price of his own freedomn happiness) cause of yunyun's death. Thats the answer for all the peeps asking him why he wont abandon his mum. He cant put down his guilt unless CT herself doesnt blame him anymore

Seeing all the mothers in this drama makes me thankful my mom isnt that extreme. Probably she had traces of MY's mum.. which is quite a norm for Asian and Chinese tiger mothers. I wonder how MY and her mum would reconcile.
ZQ mum redemption arc although we foresee it coming, but the details suprised me. LX's mum's would be the trickiest. I thk this woman unless on her death bed and have an epiphany..would she for the first time in her life puts LX's happiness ahead of her own.

If its a web drama probably. But on national channel and for general audiences, they would avoid it

stopped watching kdramas for quite awhile. And this is the first one in a long time that im really drawn to. The ambience and mood is so lit.

The first time i wasnt very happy with the episode. The power of CT, when she appears on the screen i felt so oppressed. So suffocated. And i hate how she n chengtze makes JJ feel. I just wan this CT wrap up faster, seeing her on the trailer tomoro makes my temples ache

Except she does. Evytym she criticises the people he loves, it hurts him. Whether its bringing up d past incident of JJ involve in Xiao cheng tze falling or in the next episode saying Li ba isnt LX's "real dad". Once she appears, his smile disappear and the nightmares threaten to cloud over again. Her ability to drain him emotionally and make him feel guilty is still there. He kps hearing her blaming him for leaving her and xiao cheng tze. So thats the bit yet to be resolved. I trust the writers will give a satisfactory and heart warming wrap up to the crux of the problem

Goodnews for you she will depart aft the first few episodes. Return briefly and leave again. But her affect on LX stays and she appears in memory or flashbacks. I would say so far although her scenes are excruciating, there were necessary to flesh out LX's pain and trauma.

In the drama, although CT weaves alot of weight on LX's emotional state, LX wont give up on JJ- he said before, i dont care as long as we are together. But as JJ puts it, LX's mum exists objectively regardless they like it or not. In my opinion they would be together, with or without her consent. But they would be happier to receive her blessing.

How would chinese speakers translate "我疼你" (wo teng ni)? Which JJ quietly said to Lx while he was sleeping on her shoulder. I saw subbed versions translate it as "i love you" and another one "i will take care of you". And i find both not exactly accurate, maybe "lovingly take care?".
When she climbed into bed, calm and coax him to slp, that was one of the teng ni moments she promised. Her loving nature is so sweet.

No matter if LX mum change or not, even before she left, she was the kind of mum that decides what she thks is best for LX. I rem she rejected lil JJ's icecream and said LX doesnt eat icecream. But that wasnt the case. Like Li ba said before in her eyes JJ is nt good enuf. So im waiting for the coming episodes how it would be written that JJ is the best thing that happen to LX and for LX's mum to finally see that.
