Its such a shame they inflated the drama with needless scenes..you can breeze past these episodes and yet din missed much. Also theres some lazy writing.. i wish they flesh out more on certain thgs. The assassins escapin the same way evy tym is just silly and makes the general seem less capable. The drama would have benefited with a tighter writing, 25episodes max. Im gonna power thru (when the finale is near) and not drop it cause i really like the leads.

Yup very well said. Interesting that JJ said to her new bf that she noticed the way her brothers looked at her reminded her when they first met.. their eyes were filled with loneliness. So while its her defense mechanisms keeping them at arms length. It will be her big heart and generous loving nature tht she will let her guard down soon and reopen her heart for them
The beauty of this drama is that the sad dramatic bits like emotional trauma, abandonment, depression from emotionally draining and unbalanced mother.. all this is balanced really well with healthy, selfless love from HaiChao pa, the optimistic and radiant JJ that provided solace for the brothers, funny bits and overall a heart warming, touching writing and execution. Unfortunately there will be more tears when both LX and ZQ's mum reappears in future episodes. But i thk of it as seeing how the leads grow further and stronger
Tonyt's ep 23-24, to be honest i only enjoyed like 30% of it. I din like Na xi. N there seems to b more filler scenes. Trailer of ep25-26 seems d same. 4eps in a row is subtly telling me to put on hold until more eps r out n i can fwd it to better times

Thats my thoughts as well. At 17-18 he clearly saw her as a female, not just sister.. he already had that awareness of his feelings when he said i will marry you and when you grow up lets be together for the rest of our lives. .thats nt sth a platonic brother says. Then looking at JJ- If we move backwards when JJ was 6, she really liked LX at first sight. Compared to ZQ, she disliked, got jealous and bicker like sibling.

A combination of reasons. Intially she was upset they choose to leave her. Aft getting over her initial anger she said thhe 1st two yrs they try hard to stay connected. She initially had hopes they would com back to visit evy holiday they nvr did and she eventually gave up hoping. As the days pass to years, they bcom strangers and only share pleasantries. I also thk JJ still feels that her brothers will go bak to their biological family (as they chose to do so 9yrs ago) over her n her dad..so she doesnt believe they r a real family. She said during her last interaction with LX (at 16) . If you both leave, you are no longer my brothers. She had then grew up overnight n had to learn to move on to a life that doesnt revolve ard LX and ZQ and work on a dailylife without relying on her brothers. When she meets them both again at 25, you can see she is sad over the awkwardness.(when she walks off aft the bench scene). Plus i thk she has a fear of repeating the same cycle of needing and relying on them again with the fear they will once again leave her behind.
