At 17-18 he clearly saw her as a female, not just sister.. he already had that awareness of his feelings when he said i will marry you and when you grow up lets be together for the rest of our lives. .thats nt sth a platonic brother says. Then looking at JJ- If we move backwards when JJ was 6, she really liked LX at first sight. Compared to ZQ, she disliked, got jealous and bicker like sibling.

A combination of reasons. Intially she was upset they choose to leave her. Aft getting over her initial anger she said thhe 1st two yrs they try hard to stay connected. She initially had hopes they would com back to visit evy holiday they nvr did and she eventually gave up hoping. As the days pass to years, they bcom strangers and only share pleasantries. I also thk JJ still feels that her brothers will go bak to their biological family (as they chose to do so 9yrs ago) over her n her dad..so she doesnt believe they r a real family. She said during her last interaction with LX (at 16) . If you both leave, you are no longer my brothers. She had then grew up overnight n had to learn to move on to a life that doesnt revolve ard LX and ZQ and work on a dailylife without relying on her brothers.
When she meets them both again at 25, you can see she is sad over the awkwardness.(when she walks off aft the bench scene). Plus i thk she has a fear of repeating the same cycle of needing and relying on them again with the fear they will once again leave her behind.

- ask her to act cute/coquetish to him
- told her when they are adults they will be together forever

Im just happy that its airing way more frequently than most dramas. At the rate its coming out (14eps in 8days) we hav abt 2 weeks till it completes airing. Meanwhile all the episodes are so worth rewatching..just need to fastforward the selfish mum and the horrendous dad.

We see from the start LX character is diff from ZQ. LX alteady know they would not agree if he discussed (his dad n JJ). His maternal family is good at guilt tripping him. He's someone who has lost a sister when very young from a freak accident that he couldnt prevent (that emotional trauma is still with him) so do u thk he would ignore an ailing mother and her yound daughter to fend for herself. As much as i dislike his decision, if he made the opposite decision we wouldnt have liked that LX either.

My mum taught us from young never to give shoes to your loved ones cause they will leave you. Its a superstition that believe or not we stick to mum's teaching. Somehow that scene of the shoes JJ gave her brothers makes my heart ache the most.
Really its hard for the ones that leave but also very hard for the ones left behind.

Im nt surprise with LX's mum right from ep1 she was selfish and even spiteful.. as well as emotionally not stable. It is just sad that she made LX bear her cross.

Eyes swollen from watchin ep10. But more tears will flow in ep11. Felt like masochist for watching this drama knowing how raw and sad it can be yet cant be helped.. written and acted so well.. havnt com across such a wholesome and meaningful drama in such a long time. Almost like on a whole class of its own. Lets hope the brilliance maintain throughout the course of the drama.

FL overheard ML conversation with the elder. She knows the emperor might be the cause of ML's brother's death. And as a princess brought up by the emperor .. all this linkage will make it hard for them to face each other and live together k owing you are link to the enemy.
