For Cinematography i would say it depends on the budget of the drama, ive seen some laughable ones in C dramas and i've also seen some good ones in K drama so i dont really thk we could qualify your last statement. Lastly I cant picture Kris Wu as Dao Ming Tse at all. Dao Ming Tse is actually a pretty multi-facet character - bad, a lil disturning, childish, soft inside and i dont thk Kris could pull off all facets. Just my 2 cents :p

It was. Its not perfect but i really enjoy watching the truth unfold. Park Bo Gum also gave a very memorable performance. I do thk it was worth watching.

Check Hello Monster. Although they gave it a Comedy tag- i dont remember it as funny at all. Its mostly serious- Thriller, Psychological, Mystery and Detective.

Watch one third of this drama (12 ep) n am suprise by the fast pace n plot. ML and FL though both new to me were spot on. Seems there willrelease the drama in 3 parts. Second part seems full of angst, dread the separation too. I thk have to put thison hold until third part comes out

i thk in the novel it was mentioned love and hate changes in an instant (and its just two face of the same coin). He loved and hated her with the same intensity. In the novel the turning point is when she died..and the hatred dissipates completely. So in that sense the drama is still the same.. but i agree that drama version made it more dramatic by hurting her an additional time with the protect Sui he scene..

yup the part he said shes pregnant was a lie. but in the novel aft all the tragedy calmed down n they got together for real, she gave birth to a son, a white egret. there were photos surfacing of a boy taking pictures with Deng lun and yang zi. So it means this part is adapted into the drama

she wasnt known for her acting. in the past she was known for her looks. i also agreed there were many instances of over acting. and stiffness in parts of her face (that i attribute to botox)

very. it goes from fluffy to sweet to bitter and only aft the bitterness you get the triumphant sweetness. its gonna be an epic ride so buckle up and join the watch

I dont agree. He didnt do it out of obsession or love. Even before jinmi he wears a mask n he manipulates ppl to get what he wants. Beneath the gentleness lies a person with hus own agenda..

I thk the actor was a hit and miss. Sometimes he commanded attention n potrayed wuji but theres times i look at him and feel he's too modern and didnt fit the role. He gives some of us that perception. it's disconcerting for me. I also felt the chemistry was forced. unlike in Eternal love where it felt natural.

It does in the novel. Having stabbed Phoenix to death, she spat out the unfeeling pill in her despair and experienced her real first heartache and devastation. She stayed by Night's side- not knowing Phoenix didnt kill her father. Towards the end in a showdown between Night and Phoenix, Jinmi sacrificed herself. She died. In the epilogue she became a tear in Phoenix's eye. Later she reincarnated in human form, and Phonix came for her having waited thousand of years for her. Epilogue even mentions of their married life and child.

thanks for explaning. i too usually dislike when they deviate too much from novel but i agree that for a drama to be more acceptable to the masses the production team may feel the need to dilute or change the character(s)

unfortunately... ratings should have gone to individual episode. not the entire drama. but it does say 10 ppl found it so awesome they gave it a 10of 10 rating?
