Thank you for your reply. 😊 For me personally, it doesn't translate well in live action. Tbh, I don't like it in games either. I don't mind fantastical fight scenes but I should be able to buy into the realism of scenes in the universe in which it's set. I know, it sounds contrary, however, this is just how I feel about this particular aspect of SL.

It's just my opinion. I feel women have an uncanny ability to pick up on things that men may not necessarily sense or pick up on.

I peg it to women being more intuitive, LOL.

Rain Lu has chemistry with everyone. Heck, I, too, want a drama where she stars opposite Ryan Cheng. I absolutely loved their frenemies like vibe.

You will have to make peace with her shooting arrows in close combat. The first time I witnessed it, I was like what in the actual efff?!!!

Whereas, Wei Xiao, played by the same actor who plays Ouyang Jun here, seemed to have more expressions even while remaining absolutely stoic, LMAO.

She's been great in everything I have ever watched her in. I cannot remember a single instance wherein she didn't have chemistry with her co-actors. Her characters always seem to have an underlying sense of strength.

Ouyang Jun's devastation and ugly crying after Qiao'er sacrifices herself is what I expected from Bi Zhi in TPOB. Episode 22 did so many things right. Rain Lu, as always, didn't disappoint. I am so sorry to see her character die.

Tbh, I love grey, moody and melancholic settings. The reason why I didn't quite like the demon arc was because it overstayed its welcome. It felt disjointed because it just didn't flow well. The plot device of her amnesia was not used well. Meanwhile, the mortal realm arc seemed to progress at breakneck speed. All the loose ends were not tied up.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one! I usually don't draw parallels but LR popped into my mind immediately after that scene. I don't like many KDramas, but LR occupies a special place in my 💗.

Preach! I wish they had drawn out the phase of him being suspicious of her, yet, still helplessly falling for this self proclaimed "fairy" for like at least like an episode or two more.

I cannot believe I am saying this but the mortal realm could have used a few more episodes and the demon arc could have been more tightly edited.

Was anybody else reminded of Im Sol silently crying whenever she came across Ryu Sun Jae during the first few moments in the first timeline when Liao Ting Yan started tearing up on meeting Sima Jiao for the first time in the mortal realm?

In my opinion, the title is both apt and hilarious! For once, both the grammar and the syntax of the title are correct. Also, the title seems fitting given the synopsis. It is quite unique and makes the drama sound so much more interesting than it actually may be.

Gosh! I was so pissed! It's Xianxia for crying out loud. Would it have killed them to give us a proper HEA?! *SMH to this day*
Is it SY and BJT's Destined? I didn't watch it. SY's acting and the character herself made me drop it after 2-3 episodes.
