Tbh, it seems like her sister and her husband aren't together anymore. Also, Da Rim's mother's observation reminded me of someone in real life who is practically blind to the failings of one of her children.
Hello! Just want to say that when I first came across MDL years ago, I would often come across your comments on…
I would read your rants too, and oh boy, were they helpful. Basically, if your criticisms seemed to echo the kind of things I would be annoyed by and would want to rant against as well, I would skip the drama, hehe.
True! There are scores of dramas for every kind of taste, but variety does make it difficult to sift through the dramas I'd probably like. So, sensible comments save the day. What doesn't work for someone, may work for me and vice versa.
She is excellent here. She is portraying a charming, but inexperienced person, who learned how to be a hard worker…
Exactly! An open happy ending in CDramas feels like fan service at this point. However, in this case the original source material was hit by plagiarism claims. The author vehemently denied the allegations and last I read, she had plans for continuing and finishing the manhua. I couldn't stoooopppp... π Exactly. Trashy romance can be highly entertaining given the right cast. Have you watched the Taiwanese drama, Lost Romance? It's very entertaining. π

The Long Ballad has an implied happy ending because the comic book from which it is adapted isn't finished yet. LYN has been an instinctively good actor from the start. Aah, I feel like re-watching TLB again. I have already re-watched it a few times. Not a single episode wasted. I remember I had binged it overnight and the following day. Don't ask how. π€ TMAI! WL was one of my favourite characters. Really? SOM doesn't sound promising, even story wise. SAL doesn't seem like the engaging kind of OTT given the fact that Esther is still using her baby voice. I don't mind trashy, angsty scripts, but, cutesy voices are a hard no for me. I think the minis ought to be available on YT as well. Your review of Hotelier doesn't make me wanna watch it. I like makjang from time to time but it has to be interesting enough to keep me invested.
I am sincerely glad you thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, I liked it too. I hope my smack-posting didn't mar your…
Naah, it's all good. You were having fun and discussing the drama and not making snap judgements about the viewers watching it. π I don't get annoyed by anyone dissing a drama, even if it's a drama I adore. For crying out loud, what ticks me off is when certain holier than thou users start demeaning viewers for enjoying a particular drama, attack them for having a positive viewing experience, and act all condescending and judgemental towards them for liking the said drama... jeez. Oops, rant over. π And cheers, mate!
Not a fan of those last 2 episodes or most episodes in the second half of the drama. Too much screen time wasted…
Hello! Just want to say that when I first came across MDL years ago, I would often come across your comments on different drama pages. Your comments helped me sort out what I actually wished to watch. After a while, I'd specifically seek out your comments to figure out whether a particular drama was worth watching or not. So, it's so nice to see you here. π
Come on, the writer might have butchered the main love story in the middle but they still had far superior chemistry…
So true! Justice for those uneaten ice cream sticks! By the end of the drama, Gyeong Min and Go Eun were practically attached at the hip, doing everything together, LMAO. Where one went, the other followed!
Sometimes actors like to take a break by taking less emotionally taxing roles. The cast seem to enjoy alot in…
Exactly. It seemed like both AEJ and JKY were taking a break from doing intense roles back to back and wanted to do something fun and goofy for a change. π
Come on, the writer might have butchered the main love story in the middle but they still had far superior chemistry…
Yeah! They are so cute together. Not them arguing whose nose the munchkin in the making has got. Tbh, I didn't expect them to even give us them dating. So, this couple's conclusion is beyond satisfactory. π Also, you called it! We got babies, y'all, courtesy of the Go Da Rim and Gong Ji Hyeok Productions! π€£π₯°
*Boom* π₯πWell said! I love how the drama constantly reminds you to never give up. With Da Rim's situation,…
Thanks!
IKR?! Keep the hustle going. Da Rim is the poster girl for when the going gets tough, the tough get going. π Tbh, all the characters had purpose and love the overall message of making best of the second chances you get. π
Many find Da Rim less invested in her relationship with Ji Hyeok. However, that's how a person on autopilot comes across. It is kind of hard to understand unless one has come across someone like that, or has experienced it first hand. Apart from Da Rim, I loved most of the characters be it Ji Hyeok, Gyeong Min, Ha Yeong, Seon U, Go Eun, etc. I liked the fact that the supporting characters didn't simply exist to prop up the main leads. Moreover, a shoutout to the hilarious cameos. (In episode 14, the use of that dratted pointer was hilarious. Absolutely comedy gold!)
Unlike many other shows, the workplace scenes were interesting and I did not fast forward a single scene with the Mother TF team. They were such a joy to watch. And my second most favourite ship sailed and how! I love that the finale had two little munchkins and a munchkin in the making. π I absolutely loved the finale ending with a random, goofy dance by the entire cast. Great way to break the fourth wall. It felt so reminiscent of the quirky outros with the cast dancing that Japanese drama productions sometimes have. For everyone finding the dancing cringe, since when is lighthearted dancing cringe? We all gotta lighten up a bit.
Lastly, in the vein of Dynamite Kiss' last message, here's to many more dynamite romcoms. π₯°
