YouTube videos do the job of distracting me. 🤭 No worries! I keep in touch with most people, including older acquaintances, through texting. Tbh, at this stage of life, I keep in touch with people if only they are also keen enough to do so. Otherwise, it becomes stressful on both ends. People get caught up in living their lives, so it's alright if they drift apart from each other. I absolutely loved CIL. So beautifully melancholic. OMG. Haru is on my to-watch-list.

I watched SWL in Everlasting Longing. By the end of it, Angelababy and SWL seemed to be competing with each other with regards to who could act worse. 🤦🏻♀️ Perhaps, they are not as bad as I think they are. During that time, I had been watching a couple of mini dramas with way more skilled actors who would never get to lead bigger projects which in turn may have sorta made me more annoyed at their bad acting than usual. 🤷🏻♀️

Really?! I avoid tragic endings too! Either I have watched too few or too many CDramas, LMAO. Not in the past few years. 😔 I usually end up rereading my favourite sections from my favourite novels. 🤭 It's a shame, I used to be a voracious reader. I didn't read the entire manga. Just the portion after the drama ends. It was a few chapters. 😅

I have been an odd one if I say so myself. I have never felt compelled enough to have SM accounts unless I absolutely had to, for example, for school or work. No, I don't think I have. What's "lavender haze"? Hehe, I sorta understand. With regards to dramas being timeless, it's usually JDramas that take the lead. I love watching older JDramas.

I feel you. I am a binge watcher too. 🤭 Is it the SWL one? I didn't because SWL can't act to save his life. It's a pity that I like ZJM. I know it's harsh but I have been disappointed by his acting attempts. This is also why I haven't watched Go Ahead yet even though I love Steven Zhang.

I guess I have been watching all the wrong ones, LOL. Regarding the ones I have watched, I'd be lucky to get a wedding at the end. I don't read webtoons, so your observation is interesting. I have only ever read Keita Hatsukoi because I had to know the end. 😅

Twins? Have there been any in the past few years? There is only one CDrama with twins that I remember. I don't think there have dramas ending with babies at all, unless you count the KDrama MMH.

Go to Escape's page. Search for comments by Tommy. Kinda apprehensive of posting a link here. Most fansubbers now have many steps which unfortunately for me aren't exactly possible to follow since I almost have no social media presence. The fansubber has posted links in the comments itself. Better complete watching now before he locks everything up.
I despise machine translations. Reading such subtitles feels like a chore, LOL.

Great minds think alike, LMAO. Actually, I came across a positive review of the drama a few days ago and recognised the actors on the poster and I love them both. As I looked through the drama's page, I saw a fansubber who had painstakingly subbed it. He has done a really good job given the fact that it seems he learned to understand Japanese by the ear because there were some conversations and messages that had not been subtitled. However, you can figure some of it out by context. Given my basic level of understanding Japanese, I still need subtitles. I am really grateful to the fansubber because otherwise I would have had to give up on yet another of many unsubbed dramas.

Thank you so much! However, I think the tweet is deleted, LMAO. 🤣
Tbh, neither am I. However, what I am worried about is them tacking on a last minute happy ending since we have a lot of ground to cover. I want the happy ending to be leisurely but not everything can be LR. *sigh* In all my years of watching KDramas, never did I ever think that one of my top favourites would be a drama about a KPop idol and his ardent fan given how I just don't care for KPop.

Tbh, poor Da Rim slid back into feeling inconsequential. It's pretty in character for her to walk away due to feelings of worthlessness to "protect" the love of her life. She did promise to stay by his side and take on issues together, however, when push comes to shove, i.e., in her mind her removing herself may help his cause; she'd do exactly that, her feelings and well being be damned. Even in Jeju, after the potential deal falls through, she was worrying about the fact that the mission ultimately failed because of her.
Okay wild theory but hear me out!!I think there is connection between the death of Darim's father and Ji Hye's…
OMG. Your wild theory actually doesn't seem too wild. I did notice that they never mentioned the cause of Da Rim's father's death but I always assumed him to have died in some tragic road accident. The fact that it may not be an accident but a murder...

Yes, I did! 🥰 Glad you enjoyed it. Check out Escape (JDrama). It's adorable!
P. S.: Is the pre-release out?
