One of the reasons l just couldn't get into The Blossoming Love is because of the colour palette. Not throwing shade at the drama, it's just that I like darker colours, darker lighting, sombre moods, LOL.

SK's beauty standards make me cringe. People are perfect the way they are, most don't seem to understand that.

People have been bullied for way less.

Loving the frenzied pace of this drama which leaves the viewer out of kilter. It almost feels like living inside KH's head, thoughts rampant and chaotic, whizzing in and out of her consciousness. Hope the rest of the episodes are filmed in the same manner. This drama has an artsy, indie feel which I think has caused bewilderment amongst some viewers. This drama is certainly offbeat.

I, too, want a separate Xianxia along these lines, played by the same actors and driven by the same motivations. A nice 24 episode drama. However, the characters should not be derived from this story since RX and LL's story is complete here. In the new story, the ML successfully undoes the tragedies by going back in time or something to this effect. 😍
