No, he did not die in the end.
I think the ending was just a cliffhanger ending but he goes back to that strange world to return the money that the old man gave back to him. And the thing about the monster being him - everything was just a dream.

He was imagining everything and the significance of the monster being him was that it acted as a metaphor.
The monster that turned out to be him and he was trying to kill himself in his dreams so that he could stop himself from making a big mistake of stealing different items and bringing them back to the real world. The monster basically acted as his inner-conscience that knows stealing is wrong which is why the monster was trying to prevent the main character from stealing by killing him in his dreams. I think the fact that everything turned out to be a dream could perhaps mean that the main character did indeed suffer from schizophrenia and all of those supernatural things were just made up in his head.
Overall its a movie that requires you to use your imagination to figure things out and make theories for yourself I guess.

Title Youth of May
12 episodic drama is an indication of well made drama. Always trust a drama that has 12 episodes, "only".
Same! It was an open ending kind of situation and rather annoying to be honest but nevertheless it was still a great drama.

Title The Wolf Spoiler
Bo Wang deserves happiness. Why does he have to bear everything on his shoulders ? Last episodes have been too…
Thank you! That’s exactly what I was thinking - he has just been placed in a helpless situation where he was under Chu Kui’s control and manipulation and when he discovers the truth he blames himself...its just so sad- I got really upset when watching those slavery scenes :/

Well, I read somewhere that if the drama following the webtoon, the girl will be ended up getting back with her…
Sometimes, the drama adaption doesn't follow the webtoon storyline but we will just have to wait and see what happens.

I am so excited to see CJH in this but I am sensing high-key Second Lead Syndrome :')
Just like in Sisyphus, I felt so bad for himmm - he was such a good lover and a friend!

Title A Tale of Thousand Stars Spoiler
Unpopular opinion here. But I could not get over the way Tian was treated in episode 9. I watched episode 10 on…
I think everyone is blinded by how the plot of this bl is so exotic and original and its not the usual 'university setting' kind of drama. But what they are failing to see is that the separation of the two main leads was actually not executed that well. If someone were to reallyyyy think about it and perhaps draw up conclusions then the reason why Tian was basically forced to leave the village by Phupha was - so that he could stop living his life as if he were in debt to Torfun. Basically, Tian leaving was a journey that lead him to live his own life for himself but to be honest - the parting scene was sOo irrelevant and confusing. Over the surface it made no sense at all and the reason for Tian's departure should be something phenomenal and revolutionary but it just looked silly to some viewers that overlooked the 'exotic plot'

I'm kinda sad that I didn't seem to enjoy it as much as everyone else. I loved it until about half way through…
Same! At first I was seriously hooked and I loved the vibes of the whole drama in general but it got a bit draggy towards the end for me. Since everyone else was still loving it I decided to finish it up and the ending was good and all but it was not phenomenal as I thought it would be:/ Overall the soundtrack and the quotes really got to me! I was obsessed with those because they were so deep and meaningful~

Honestly speaking, this is the second time travel kdrama that I have watched so I could not help but compare it…
Thamk you for The recommendations! Lately, I have been hearing a lot about Kairos so I’ll definitely check it out~ The chemistry in TKEM was sO boring and lifeless that it was depressing to watch:’)

Honestly speaking, this is the second time travel kdrama that I have watched so I could not help but compare it to the first one I watched which was, King: The Eternal Monarch and Sisyphus compared to that is a gazillion times better. Not to be offensive or anything but KTEM was just horrible produced whereas Sisyphus roughly makes sense and is reasonable in some aspects for example the characterization. Truly adored Lee Minho's acting in KTEM but that drama was just a literal mess. In Sisyphus, I agree that there are some hUh? scenes that are completely irrelevant to the actual plot but overall I am liking this drama so far.

No idea why, because from the start the drama has many elements we never watched in any other drama. Many differents…
I agree with you - th3re was that one scene when they were sliding off the building and I lowkey found that a bit funny because of how off it looked and it was pretty obvious that they were using a green screen. Overall, its quite interesting despite all the unusual scenes that don't add up to the plot.

I think its because I binged this instead of watching it whilst it was ongoing but I am in loVe with the drama! There were a few scenes that gave me filler vibs and didn't really progress the plot but overall its a well produced drama - I mean, the characterization is just phenomenal and I like how the characters are not just extras but they actually add a little bit of meaning to the plot.
