it’s a shame so many people sleep on this drama, it’s really good. probably bc it’s a pure career oriented drama instead of romantic drama with career stuff infused in it, but it’s been a while since ive had an engaging story that keeps me interested to watch more

lol i know about it. it's really more like xianxia tropes than anything tbh

i dont think we really know, the original novel' main pairing is not even the same with the drama, they changed a lot of things it seems

so far i rly enjoy their love scenes. really like cheng yi here, his look with that white hair is phenomenal 👌

i know the plot is a classic xianxia but the latest plot is almost like a page by page copy to ten miles of peach blossom lol minus some tweaks. even the result is also the same bc they already spoiled it on ep 1 loool. i dont really mind it tho, tmopb is a masterpiece. the conflict and everything i dig it even tho it's nothing new

restriction is just bc now a drama cant have more than 40 eps (?) or something i forgot the number. so their solution is to part the entire drama into two. it's not a TBC drama since they already shot everything. second part will play immediately after 1st is finished, as weird as that sounds

yeah it's really scummy, the police did find her daughter but that mom seeks trouble over some really petty stuff. and how the police reacted too as if the consumer is always right attitude is really unrealistic here. i've never heard police behave this way, especially since they aren't in the wrong here. i don't know if you already watch it past ep 13, but this isn't the last time that annoying mom is here. she really annoyed me to death, if she comes back one more time i might just skip her scenes....

im only on ep 13, but come on, bai lu character is forced to ask for forgiveness when she got slapped and blamed for an official procedure by basically a karen. and they dared to use the "this karen was cheated by her husband, so please understand her deranged mind" card. dude, you're a POLICE. if you can't even stand yourself against a damn unreasonable abuse by a bully, what integrity is this police? is police just a joke here?

i know they want to make it sound like police is martyr. police who wants to look good. but no, you're not a social worker here. you're a goddamn police. they are just bunches of coward man. this kind of thing won't happen in any country ever because it's just bunches of nonsense.

i just want to say two of my cents about this drama, since everyone else seems to love this drama and seems to have found no fault in it. but oh my god, the way they wrote police here is just so....damn apologetic? and in no way realistic. but also stupid. i know this is kind of "propaganda" drama but come on. some of the cases here make my blood boiling.

this one is so good, a really good rural development drama. even though i cant help but chuckle seeing a lot of familiar daylight ent' roosters here and there lmao

what i really like from this drama is how it's really obvious that the drama has several arcs with several protagonists. forget what the info said about main cast. it consists of several mini arcs that has the characters in it as the focus as you can see a lot of different perspectives of what rural development means for different people. from chief village, ppl who have to work far to make money for their families back home, teachers at rural places, ppl who have to relocate places to get better lives etc. while true in the end it always goes back to hx as the main character, but this drama really is about minning town

omg nooo manager sun :( and now i feel like they killed off manager sun to give him a very fast promotion excuse lol. they always blocked the ML from advancing his career the entire drama and then just suddenly give him his dreamed front lobby manager position so fast lool. his demeanor as a professional also change as that befitting of manager so fast i really thought it's really a few years already but it's only a year...

the weird thing is, i watched the raws from other sources once. that thailand singapore indonesia song is another song (i think this is the original one bc sometimes you can tell it's sometimes off beat). i guess a problem with copyright or something? they played the original song sometimes, probably missed it when they edit it or something

finished it finally, just wondering how many years before the timeskip since i find it bizarre he was already a front lobby manager but looking from the other’ stories it looks like time hasnt passed much? the last few episodes are so melancholic, but overall i like the drama. i just didnt like the main characters’ romantic plot that much. this drama is really not a romantic drama at all, more like a storytelling of this and that person got tgt, this is their story lol. quite a refreshing and funny drama to me, probably 8/10 in the end for me

he lied about his job to her mom, her friends, and her. at some point later he kept lying about his job to the point he pretended to be the manager at the hotel and some stuff later in the story. it's a pretty big deal bc for sure her mom doesn't want her daughter to end up with a doorman, even though she doesn't really mind about it later on (you will learn why she treated men like that and being really frontal about not wanting to be chased at all). also this is a pretty big deal bc this difference of their social status will be a problem later on, the dynamics quite changed once they're in relationship.

i would have to give this two thumbs for the drama to have so many interesting charas in one place. a lot of strong actors and actresses too, it feels like i'm watching a drama with several main leads since their stories are interesting and kind of making me want to await their portion of story too! this drama has flaws, sure, but i really like how they wrote the female characters here especially, i love how they can stand for themselves, been a while since i watch a drama where the girls dont get mush for brains haha

i think most ppl expect this to be a sweet romantic drama but in reality it doesnt even focus on FL and ML only, it's like the romance definitely progress even though it's on the slow side, but not on the romantic aspect if it makes sense... also ML is definitely not your typical overbearing CEO that makes girls' heart racing. he's pretty realistic for someone who's never in relationship.

everyone has romance plotline here, and everyone's love story is interesting imo. i think ML and FL' storyline is probably the most....depends on the ppl, might be the most annoying or the most interesting. ML kind of deceived FL and her friends in the beginning, and if you think that's really a big problem (bc yes i think what he lied about was a big deal) then probably you won't like their pairing. it's a good drama though, but romance is not really the aspect it focuses on, even when they're already in relationship (some of the problems about what everyone thinks about when a doorman and a flight attendance are in relationship, are brought up pretty early here)

i really like this drama. just a warning for ppl who expect this to be a pure romantic drama bc it's not. it's really a self-improvement drama. the FL and ML are not perfect ppl, but i can see they both will learn to be better people by the end of this drama, as written by the summary. they are not perfect, and i can totally see them as someone who exist in real life bc my sister' relationship with my mom is exactly like the FL's. it's not just about FL and ML though, the drama revolves mainly around the ppl around them, they have their own stories and struggles and the drama covers those beautifully, especially on ep 14, i really like it. some of the problems they are using in this story are realistic. it's a down to earth drama and they really don't sugarcoat it.

i won't spoil anything that happened in this drama, but just want to warn ppl, if your expectation is to watch a ROMANTIC drama, ex: just focused on FL and ML' romantic plot line, then the story is not for you. it's been really slow on their romance aspect and it's understandable considering how their relationship setup goes. at this point i just want to watch it to not expect anything about the romance part since the drama itself is really funny lol
