i can't stress that enough, this drama might be simple, and doesn't boast really big production value, but they hit everything right. this is really how you wrote things properly, i wish for more c-dramas like this one!

i only watched 5 episodes so far (bc thats what the eng sub is up to and it’s soooo goooodd! its the first time in a while that characters in the drama dont make me wanna punch a wall with a very engaging story. bjt always has good dramas :)

Agree so much with this. I dont even mind her at first but shes not only grating and annoying, she managed to almost sabotage them too smh. And so far her and her bro are the only ones who dont rly serve any purpose besides of being a fangirl. I would be glad if shes a spy at least, make her goddamn characer interesting please

i saw some of the clips and it has hot kisses and i like bai lu so i try to watch it. but nope...it’s just a case of classic overbearing ceo trope (that i dont really like) especially when the girl is dirt poor and stupid. the imbalance at the start of the drama just makes me uncomfortable since it’s not only a case of a ceo bullying his subordinate but apparently also a bully childhood friend :)) im still at ep 7 and cant stand how the ML treats FL so far, might drop it if it gets worse

yeah i really liked his looks in one and only. sometimes when his hair doesn't look like his usual styling in the drama (wet look etc) he does seem better lol

yeah i totally think he doesnt fit this kind of hairstyle at all haha. i'm really surprised because in one and only i really liked his styling. i'm gonna watch "miss crow with mr. lizard" after i finish this one so i'm excited to see that :)

am i the only one who doesn't like rjl hair styling in this drama? it looks... so thick and dry and looks cheap... even his hair when he came off after bath still looks better than his hairstyling after it... dries :(

yes, by musical score, i meant the background music. it's not subpar. it serves the moments in the drama well, it's not distracting whatsoever. it may not be memorable for you, but how come it's a random elevator music when it fits the moments well? you may not like the style of music it uses, but really no way it doesn't fit the drama

their shipper fans actually DID harrass his gf when she sang the song for wbl, the backlash was so great she had to delete the said video. you can ship him with sam yu as long as it's still within realm of their characters, what will those ppl do when the two of them move on to other acting gig, playing lovers with other people? harrass those other ppl too? thats just too much

i actually loved the musical score a lot, wonder why you said it's subpar lol we can agree and disagree with opinions here but no way the musical score is subpar. i have to disagree on this point even though i also don't agree that the drama is lackluster

yeah i know with c-dramas have tendency for being long for no reason. even scenes like everyday's life is fine, but the plots really going nowhere for no reason. i remember watching for almost 10 eps but there's barely anything happening. just some petty conflicts here and there without any plot moving. considering the middle part is actually quite interesting, they do know how to make a story that doesn't move like a snail pace.

the acting is indeed excellent, but i feel like i was deceived by the summary because my expectation from watching this was to watch a no-name, but talented actor became someone famous, deserved of his talent. but instead what i watched was not quite what i expected haha. they should just say at summary to expect a no-name actor being thrashed left and right. even his shot at stardom is not really due to his talent and it left quite a sour taste in my mouth
