the c-nets also complain about it lmao. in china there's no policemen willing to get bullied right and left by the citizen, that doesn't make sense even by them. also you can search a lot of policemen being corrupt cases in china, it's not ~*magically better*~ in china either. they are the same everywhere in the world. ofc there are good policemen, and the drama wants to emphasize that good side but to actually write police like bunch of weak ppl getting shoved right and left by citizens? no way that's realistic lmao. in this drama somehow the citizens are more scary and have more power than the police, they are so scared of the citizens that they apologize for something thats not even their fault. i can guarantee you, not even china has that kind of good policemen bc it doesn't make sense logically.

they have law power on their side, in reality even catching a criminal that's actually police is hard enough since they can cover up their tracks easily, how come that kind of institution just bends so easily to citizens' whims?

you said their share bed moment is sweet and pure when previously other ppl see this leak and seriously thought they finally did the deed but ofc its not lol the way the trailers keep giving false hope is just too much sometimes lol

their relationship is currently like circling and going back to zero again and again so sometimes it feels like no progress is going on. i seriously think we will get good things with tz/yd since its basically them without remembering whats going wrong in their relationship but ofc nothing happened too. my last straw is truly this of them being punished tgt, maybe yd will finally see possibility of them being tgt for real now that theyre in same position now...? idk if yd will still reject yy again im so done with this if they do that lol

me too, too much angst and too stubborn characters lol. sometimes i feel like they put angst just because. yd sometimes doesnt make sense to me, she said she forgave yy, but several eps later shes back being cold with yy, even though yy is very clear that he wants to be with her? the rules of love being banned is already been changed by that impostor emperor apparently so its not even a problem? but i guess right now they will be in relationship for real, right? .....right? hahahaha

yeah i did. those dramas AT LEAST have them tgt for a moment before they break them up. here up to ep 46 all the scenes where they are tgt are just dreams and illusions. it's not the same lol. take those dreams and imagination out, they really have nothing going on really. and it's already like ep 46? the dramas you mentioned dont even get to this much ep and still nothing. this drama is so far the most angstiest xianxia for me

i know right, i also watch it mainly for the romance. i know it's slowburn and all and angst are very common in xianxia but this amount of angst is just ridiculous at this point lol. it just makes me mad that so far all their sweet moments are just delusions, when i look at their actual relationship it's a mess, and im really in despair waiting for them to truly be together T_T i hope they make up for the lack of progress these last 15 episodes

it's like a situation where someone asks who is first, chicken or eggs? or a snake who eats its own tail. she time travelled to the past, and what she did in the past influenced someone to influence her in the future to time travel. thus you're getting confused if it's her who initiate the whole time travel, or it's that someone else in the past that makes her time travel. i just found it really amazing how they tie the whole time travel situation, i haven't found anything else that makes such a genius choice to do time travel

what i really loved in the drama is that the whole time travel is really interesting

i dont even want to post here but it just frustrates me that its already been 46 episodes and it's just neverending angst at this point, i never watched a drama where it takes this long just for them to be tgt (i wont mention dramas where i know both of them will never be tgt since it's been hinted its gonna be bad ending since ep 1). all their happy moments are either dream or just halucinations so far wtf they better pull a happy ending or i wont forgive this drama hahahah

my two cents about why this will be one of my most favorite romantic dramas ever

what i really like about this drama is that they can create love conflicts that's not just revolve around love triangles like other c-dramas often focus on and misunderstandings after misunderstandings. instead they make relationship problems that our leads try their best to overcome them, just as what real relationships do, fixing their different views of each other and treating each other better. i like that they talk with each other about it instead of just making more and more misunderstandings. some of the things that happened really can be fixed, but that's really just because of their differing of opinions and view of life (and its what make their characters so well fleshed and not just some cardboard characters)

i can't gush this enough but you can tell the director and everyone involved in the drama put so much love and care in it. it definitely shone thru!

idk about the novel, i think it’s different, css has younger bro there. I just find it sad and jarring that he hasnt been invited to the weddings and the other joyous events. i also feel like css hasnt even met him yet, lmao

i think what bothers me about this is that even though it's been 38 ep, i feel like yd doesn't know anything about yy really :( not her mistake either since yy barely tells her anything, but im just really annoyed that the series is more than half way to the end and i still feel like they barely progress much in terms of trust, knowing each other better etc. cute banters tho

iirc at some point someone said (idk, i think it's that lamp b****) said if he doesn't collect the artifacts soon he will die in one year. also i wonder why he doesn't seem curious as why he's a mortal now since he knew he was a deity before? there's also that pearl that can make his memory back and he still doesn't touch it smh. dude be angsting at the girl in his dream but he also doesn't seem to want to know whats going on. but i also dont know if he remembers he would be even more reluctant to get close to YD hhh i feel so frustrated LOL

honestly me too as well. dude forgot some stuff since he's on mortal realm, so he's NOT even near with his main objective which is to investigate the suspicious war whatever it is. now they're sidetracked into some mini quest where he has to gather artifacts since his mortal body can't take care of his true power. and even on this mini quest they dont even get anywhere near done with that.

i thought on romance side we will finally get them to HAVE actual romance since their doomed romantic plot back then in heaven are basically reset back to zero. but no, another goddamn NO U CANT DO THAT HERE EITHER TEEHEE even tho TZ was like i dont even wanna become sect leader. what even is the excuse now? he didn't even wanna become one but the leader forced him to be one wtf. im seriously frustrated bc the drama just seems to like going in circle. things just repeat again and again without even different outcome. and i bet the mini quest will still continue to season two since their 2nd artifact is gone now and we only have like 4 episodes left

the only thing thing that prevents me from enjoying this drama is unfortunately yumo. as he gets more screentime the more i feel hes just really boring. i just hope he wont be a major obstacle later on for tz/yd since i only watch this drama for them
