exactly there's a difference btwn users being friendly/casual talking about a show vs. a select group of users using a comment section as their personal hangout so anyone else's input/discussion gets buried and left behind 😪 haven't been participating here but I do like to read comments of shows I'm watching and it's impossible to do for this one

RANT // unpopular opinion I'll probs just get hate for and not trying to be a party pooper or w/e but what is up with bl fandom being so obsessed with number of comments to the point where the whole comment section becomes basically useless bc it's just ppl trying to get more and more comments. literally # of comments has no meaning on anything why not just let the comments grow themselves by people naturally talking about the show. I get this is a public space and I can't stop anyone from using it how they will but y'all some things can be kept to a group chat isn't it common courtesy to not be constantly spamming a whole comment section daily to interact w ur besties.....I came here to see what ppl were discussing and scrolled forever and it's mostly nonsense.....if anything I bet many new fans of the show will be repelled from discussing it here or get annoyed....newayyyy I've said my piece I'll go now but srsly bl spaces suck sometimes for ppl who don't give a fck about "comment more comment more tweet more view more w/e w/e" it really is getting old 😪😪😪😪😪😪

why is this comment section the same few people who hated the ending when it aired coming back here again and again writing essays on why they hated it lmao like ppl can express their thoughts but honestly if you hate it so much......write a review then move on and watch another drama you like better?? still being this mad isn't good for your health srsly 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

to anyone who is discouraged from watching bc of this comment section I'd say give the drama a chance and form your own opinion. even if you don't like the ending (and not everyone hates it but those ppl are loudest) it's still worth the watch for most ppl ✌️

I've not been a commenter on here bc I don't rlly vibe with this comment section (and this is a great illustration of why lmao) but I wanted to say thank you for being the one to say this because I was about to step in and do it myself....there are certain things you rlly should not be bringing to the actors who are actual humans too....this made me so uncomfortable.........

lol yes she did! it is part of the fun yes, I like to read (respectful) critiques too. however ppl demanding writers should change their stories or they should've "just given the audience what they want" bothers me......and I would say that if I hated the ending myself, or for any other drama too. kdrama world would be much more boring if that is how dramas are made

this drama has made me respect even more writers who stick to their visions instead of pandering to audience wishes and expectations. literally have seen ppl especially on twitter demanding special episodes and signing a petition for a dif ending/episode.....srsly?? to be very clear disliking an ending and expressing critique in a healthy way is one thing (all can feel free to do so) but this level of entitlement is another thing, writers don't owe ppl anything. saying "writer should have changed the ending bc we would like it better, writer should stop writing and listen to us" as if you represent everyone and as if that's a good way for dramas to be made, nah, writers should be allowed to tell their story, people will like it or not like it, that is the case for all art. anyway thats off my chest lol I look forward to this writer's future work even if I don't think the writing here was perfect (hard to do) I like writers who try to do things differently and I hope the ppl who are being loud don't discourage her from writing dramas like this

what a shame if we lived in a world where all writers changed their endings based on how much $$$$ they could get, I'm glad the writer stuck to her story even if it made some unhappy or will get less money

yes the writer doesn't get all the credit that's already a given bc a drama is a group effort. but people going on about "we know for sure njh and ktr saw the flaws in the drama and didn't like the ending" based on lighthearted comments out of context and people are taking that and using it to say "wow they hated the ending too" which they did not say......you can praise the actors good work without taking back all your praise of writer or pushing the idea the actors were hating on the writing it reflects badly on the actors too when people do that

the actors are amazing but the way some of you are trying to create this story of joohyuk and taeri hating the writer is so fckn weird not to mention disrespectful.......they're grown adults who chose this project knowing the whole story. you can hate the ending all you want but acting like you know the actor's feelings is so weird lmao not to mention discrediting all the effort of the writer and director just bc of the ending when before people were praising them before that. I support anyone expressing their criticisms but some people are for real so disrespectful and yes that is including disrespect to the actors when you try to create this "actors vs the writer" thing that is based on nothing it's so immature.......do you think the actors would want you doing this and creating unnecessary negativity? y'all are so bold for no reason the writer can deserve praise and criticism at the same time

yeahhh people can feel how they feel and share their thoughts I support that but it's def a shame that negativity has taken over the convo completely when there is so much to praise. I hope when things calm down more people can talk about the positives but like one way or another this drama had such an impact I think it will be remembered positively in the end 🙏

for me this drama was like very sweet dessert, the first few bites are amazing and bring only happiness but the more and more you eat you start to get tired of it and wish you were having something with more flavor than just sugar

hi just fyi there is a little blood/gore I guess you could say in second to last episode they are in 2001 and the male lead a reporter goes to ny to report on 9/11 and they do show some people who were injured I think that is the only time such a thing is shown but heads up!!!!
