"if it's not an autobiography then you want to immerse yourself in fantasy" that's fine for you but you don't speak for everyone lol as if just bc it's not nonfiction it's obligated to have a couple happily ever after ending......such a sad view on art....this show is not a fluffy romcom it never was. yeah we can't be mad at viewers who wanted a happy ending but we can be annoyed when they refused to interpret the drama and then got mad about it in the end. it's not like this show was 100% fluff until the last episode it always had lots of sadness throughout.....if you think a show like this should just be for entertainment and not have any other meaning I feel like that's on you not on the writers like at some point y'all have to take ownership of your own tv watching if you don't ever wanna run into anything that isn't pure happiness then don't watch anything until it's done, only ever watch total comedic romcoms like business proposal, or work on interpreting dramas so you see a show for what it is
